There was a time when I didn't understand why Pablo Neruda was so famous, and how he was awarded with the Nobel.... now I don't understand how I couldn't love his work; I don't read a lot of poetry or know much about it, but I know that he's one of the bests poets. It's different though, when you read them in spanish........ in spanish they are much more ambigualent andthey just have a different meaning; must be because it is my 1st language :lol: Yeah the book says that this poem has been translated. Do you like it? yes..... I love it... it makes me remind the hospital though, and that's not very pleasant............. That sort of poems calm me or make me go calmer.... If that makes sense...... on the other hand, Ode to a Lemon or Ode to a Onion make me laugh; that's why I like his, it's not just THE topic, he has many things to show and all of them are good. Indeed, I like it :D
