:laugh3: So I wonder what "Alice" is doing 10 years later, ya know the one that didn't want "Chris" in a "Sexual Manor". That just cracked me up:laugh3: The song, what we can hear, sounds great!!
  5. Well Viva is over, I would assume this being last minute, they will just dress normal :laugh3: (black cargos and flaming lips t) and do some of their hit songs, it would be nice to hear some new material, but I doubt they will prevail any of the album coming out.:\ Wish I could be there if they do play.
  6. SORRY THIS WAS POSTED IN LIVE THREAD, MY BAD.......... Coldplay To Take U2'S Glastonbury Slot? Rockers COLDPLAY have reportedly been approached to take over U2's headlining slot at the famed Glastonbury festival - after frontman BONO underwent emergency spinal surgery on Friday (21May10). Organisers of the U.K.'s leading music festival are rushing to find a possible replacement for the Beautiful Day hitmakers after Bono injured his back while preparing for the band's 360 Degree world tour. Chris Martin and his bandmates are currently working on their next album after wrapping up their Viva La Vida trek - but are said to be considering Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis' offer to play the festival next month (Jun10). London rapper Dizzee Rascal is also believed to be in consideration for the slot on 25 June (10), according to British newspaper The Sun. Bono, 50, is said to be recuperating under the care of a sports injury specialist and a neurosurgeon. U2 have scrapped the first show of their North American tour and are expected to make further cancellations due to Bono's back problems. Comment on this story

  9. Oh and I thought for those not knowing what a "Dirty Martini" was it's dirty or Cloudy looking do to adding olive juice or Brine. You can use Vodka or Gin, and dry Vermouth. :) Child Cocktail Waitress Gwyneth Paltrow Gwyneth Paltrow used to make martinis for her father when she was just six years old. Gwyneth Paltrow started mixing cocktails when she was just six years old. The 'Iron Man 2' star - who has two children, Apple, six, and Moses, four, with her husband Chris Martin - learned about alcohol by making drinks for her father, film producer, Bruce Paltrow when she was a child. She said: "I love a dirty martini. I used to make my dad his drinks when I was about six!" Despite her career achievements, Gwyneth - who runs her own lifestyle website GOOP - claims appearing on a cookery programme has been the highlight of her working life because she is such a fan of food. Speaking on UK TV show 'Market Kitchen', she said: "I really love eating. This is a highlight of my career." Although Gwyneth - who lists her favourite foods as muffins, grilled tuna, gorgonzola and pomegranates - has been cooking "seriously" for around 15 years, she admits her children are less-than-impressed by her culinary creations. She said: "They're quite picky." The 37-year-old actress used to follow a strict macrobiotic diet but now allows herself to indulge in some of her favourite calorific treats. She said recently: "I love anything fried, fish and chips, and I love Branston pickle and I love red wine."

  14. Cool, I think they need to be invited back for tea with the Queen:D
  15. The wikicoldplay say's this Politik is the first song on A Rush of Blood to the Head. The song was written on September 13, 2001. Chris Martin wrote it after the attacks of the World Trade Center in New York City. He confirmed that it was written about the state of the world. The song's rhythm is very banging-like, with silent verses. Politik is frequently played live during almost all their tours since the release, usually as an opener. Altho in the storytellers Will and Guy couldn't remember if it was done right before or right after cause they were across the pond at the time of the attacks.
  16. :laugh3:It's Christopher Martin and he found out and told them absolutly NOT to publish this photo of them together, so they had to photoshop it.:laugh3: Marriage Ref was great!!!! Ellen was excellent as usual, and the Viva song at the start with her coming out was awesome:D The Marriage Ref showed alittle of what it's like with C&G's marriage if you read between the lines.:)
  17. Wow, you are really closed minded, NO REAL REASON FOR MORE PEOPLE TO ENJOY THEM??? What planet are you from??? They can never have too many fans IMO. GLEE might not be some peoples idea of a good show, but these actors are really good performers and singers and have the top rated show here in America.;)

Hmmmm, I guess when they came out of the Womb:D Yeah, so along time, only joined this great Board Feb. 2009 tho.
  19. I would like to see them cover a Coldplay song or two, it would be fun, but the majority on this CPing.com board are always against someone covering one of their songs, and I think that is ridicoulous, open up your eyes people, it's a great way for MORE people to hear about them and their music in a fun way, and it doesn't hurt that GLEE is like the #1 show here in America.
  20. The Rap was classic!!!
