hello friends!!! I am in the hotel lobby computer room, these are very slow computers, but will do the trick. Flight felt very short, 7 hours 20 mins. It is 11;50am here, and the weather couldn't be better. Nick faldo is a very well known professional golfer who is alway's on tv, some of you might know him. So we are at the airport and the driver wasn't waiting out in the international pick-up area, he was almost an hour late, so the rock star vibe of walking into this place and seeing my name on the hand held sign went down the toliet, LOL. never mind, he got here sign in hand, but whisked us off the the car. The drive took forever it seemed, London is jammed packed of small things, sidewalks, streets, ect... I would have to get used to it. I am off to the tube, and onto Belsize park to meet up with some folks.Check again later. |Tracey

Hello Everyone!!! Just picked our seats on our flight and got our P's and Q's in order. It will be a long morning, anticipating getting there. I wish each and everyone of you great people could be with me on this adventure. I will think of all of you each step that I take. I will take as many pics of places I visit in our short time, and I will make sure to come TO THIS THREAD not WEMBLEY'S to post little things going on. It's good I will be 5/8 hours ahead of some of you, that way it's early for everyone to check out this thread. Hopefully I will be able to post something back at the hotel after the show is over. The transportaion was set today, The Addison Lee company will pick us up. There was 1 other person who also won a trip to this show, and she is taking her husband as well, the car unfortunatly is picking them up as well as myself and Steve at 5pm on concert day, it will take like 15/20 mins to get there and the show's first act comes on at 5:30pm, so I really don't think there is backstage passes involved, (not unfortunate) that the other couple will be with us as well, I just meant it was late picking us up, I wanted to get there around 3 and meet some Coldplayers, Oh well, it's fine with me, good thing I decided to get seats instead of standing, cause I think the Band would look like ANTS to me. This other couple is from South Hampton, England. I will check-in again before I leave tomorrow and say my good-byes. Love to everyone, Tracey

Some were worried about taking the sticks on the plane, I called Brittish Airways and they told me there is NO restrictions on taking them on the inside of the plane.

Dianne, if there's any possible way for you to get a plane ticket and concert ticket, your more than welcome to stay in our room with us, that would save hotel costs, can't promise it will be too comfortable, but it might have a pull-out or couch, or you can sleep in the tub:(:kiss: Thanks Nancy, I still feel very weird tho.

I posted this on a thread in The Coldplay section.... First off, I made some really cool friends being attatched to the Tampa thread, getting to know everyone and planning our meetings for months before the show up to the postponement, we all gathered in "OUR" special thread sharing videos, pic's, experiences, and trash talk. It was a special thread. I was lucky enough to have won Tampa tickets, even tho I already had tickets to this show, everyone was so happy and hoping I would get to go backstage and meet the band. When it was postponed, the contest people and Arlene contacted me wanting to know if I wanted to go to Wembley, well, DUH.... My special friends were so excited for me, and wanted updates of my journey, and were just beside themselves for the thrill of a lifetime that was handed to me. I feel like I have cheated my friends somehow...... We all were so hoping for a wonderful meet-up for talk, drinks, and the ultimate Coldplay experience. I get that, my friends who can't go to Wembley do not. I am very sad, even tho I am leaving in 2 day's for Wembley, my heart goes out to my friends I have made in "OUR" special thread. Dianne, I know how bad this was for you, and I am sorry my friend, I will have a drink for you on Friday, and will try my hardest for a drumstick! Thanks for reading this, I just hope we all will have a chance of that "get-together" somewhere down the road..............

Well after reading what Debs said, I feel better, granted his schedule is like none others, he is so very active on stage that after all these show's I am sure he is not the same as he was earlier on in the tour, isn't this one of the longest tours they have done? As for the sweat, who know's ? If it wasn't the light's, maybe he just ran out of the shower:D I think the Wembley show's are going to be the best of the whole tour!!!
