  1. Well if you don't use the edit button a few times adn instead do triple posts OF COURSE you are going to be able to do over 700 posts in 24 hours...
  2. :surprised: I saw a truck just like that tooo once! I went squeee inside.
  3. I never like Lost! I like Lost? though. And I like Lost@ for some reason cuz the drum goes, like, BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM :surprised: I don't know what you mean by "what's that?" XD
  4. Thank you, thank you ever so much. Although if they'd released a FOURTH album that sounded exactly like they did before they would've gotten torn apart by the critics, and it might have been slightly boring. So that's anohter point you can make. But as it was they released a fourth album that was just poppy and so forth and that got torn apart by the critics too, and it wasn't more interesting to listen to than their other albums. But imo they're still making their own music, it's just..... with Eno and Hopkins and stuff around, it.... Idk again. 'S'weird.
  5. That's cuz you're old. And from the UK. They were always more famous over there. Actually I also amend my above post; I really like Cemeteries of London, too.
  6. ...We could discuss that statement for HOURS, Paul :P I sort of agree, though. You listen to them in articles and interviews and Chris is always saying how they wanted to make music to please people with Viva La Vida -- I mean they'd pleased millions beforehand, they didn't have to enlist Brian Eno and go all gung-ho into making a semi-pop album like Viva La Vida. Idk. I don't even particularly like many songs off it. Except I love Violet Hill. And Reign of Love. And The Escapist. (...but that's basically Jon Hopkin's song ANYWAY, so idk...) Also DAAHF. Which, that's like a third of the album, but the rest of it I really don't like very much.
  7. STOP DANCING EVERYONE!! It isn't even OUT yet....
  8. Me too. But I was about five when they first formed. Actually the first Coldplay I ever heard was Clocks, but I looked around trying to figure out who did it and couldn't figure it out. Then I forgot about them until I heard Viva La Vida on the radio. And then I saw them on the Grammys and I was like, "oh yah I remember this song I really need to listen to Coldplay more, I only know of like two of their songs" and then I spent three hours on YouTube watching all of their music videos and interviews and being completely enraptured  I was so pathetic before I watched them on the Grammys. I didn't know a thing about them. Then I listened to all the albums in backwards order and I came to like Parachutes the best
  9. Sleeping Sun :D "I never meant"
  10. I agree with that guy; drugs make music more interesting.
  11. Strawberry Swing!! "rocks're waitin', boys..."
  12. You're such a spammer.
  13. . .. ... .... I take that as a personal challenge, Ian. edit: Wait, I've been here for nearly five months already  I thought it was more like three. S'pose I don't have enough time to knock out another 4-odd thousand in the next month...
  14. Fifteen. Theoretically I can leave the house in three years but I won't be quite done with high school then and I need to leech of him for college/potential med school, sooOOOoo... I'm pretty sure he also won't let me drive when I'm sixteen :laugh3: Personally I think sixteen is a terrible age to let people drive, but I still think I personally am responsible enough. Obviously. :P
  15. I don't know anybody who I could attract to listening to Coldplay. Either they already do or they listen to screamo/rap/pop crap. One reviewer for Prospekt's March said something like "if you need a good review to listen to Coldplay I don't know where your head's at" and I agree. Either you like them or you think they're boring/banal/crap/what-have-you.
  16. He can have a pat too :nice:
  17. Dude.... that would be a quintet anyway. Can this girl count? :laugh3:
  18. He isn't...... awful, he's just..... out of it. He doesn't realize that he's going to have to let go of me in three years. You know? He's trying to restrict me.
  19. Attention seeks him because of his personality :P Everyone else in Coldplay is quiet and keeps to themselves but he's like a ball of extroverted energy that bounces everywhere spouting random comments and talking about the age he lost his virginity. :laugh3: Wtf Chris? I mean it's endearing and all, but... well anyway, everyone loves him anyway. :nice: Plus he's the frontman, so he's bound to get the most attention. I mean... frontmen, like, go in the front. Diggit? :P
  20. I predict he will, but I don't think he should. :P Everyone here loves Chris but god he gets so much attention.
  21. THISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS There's a seperate thread about "Coldplay dreams" where people who actually care about seeing other people talk about weird Coldplay-related dreams can go look at accounts of them. Pleeeassse don't clog up the front page with these threads. Tyvm.
  22. Actually, he definitely shouldn't mind if I say his cooking is crap because he's said so himself on multiple occasions. But I think that if I said that, it would count as a challenge to his authority in his mind and he would get angry at me. :\
