  1. I mean we would waste our soldier's lives on oil. ie collectively the country would die for oil. They're in search for a stable AMERICAN dictatorship.
  2. Cool. Mine is mostly to give smart people common-sense knowledge about how the world works -- it's the only class we work in, but it's a college class, so. I like it a lot. Philosophy-related things are fun. I wrote a really analytical essay for English once about some bullshit about how Death in Godfather Death (a folk story/fairy tale) represented social equality and justice. I got the best grade in the class in it and my teacher read it to everyone and said it read "almost like she was in college." And it was total made-up bullshit. :P Oddly when I was done with it I realized I'd actually put together a pretty intruiging/interesting argument -- I had difficulty staying in the page limit too.
  3. My friend brought it up the other day that we "went to war over oil." She seemed really surprised, so I asked her why and she said "But the government lied to us!" I said we needed oil and would fight and die for it and she looked really disappointed and surprised. It was weird.
  4. Never? What if I gave you virtual chocolate? *That was random.*

  8. It is sort of. But that is the main thing -- relying on a resource clustered in one of the most backward parts of the world is sorta bad...
  9. I don't know. You don't play any mmos or anything do you?

  19. I like them in a salad with yummy unhealthy dressing. :nice:
  20. I like them best if you sort of peel of the skin -- but that's a lot of work. They're really nice in the summer when the skin is a certain tautness and you bite into them and grapeness explodes in your mouth and it's nice and cold. Cherry tomatoes are like that sometimes too -- tomtoes are the total shiz when they taste like an actual tomato. Frozen grapes are nice too. I love candied pineapple also. EDIT @ Laura: I think tomatoes are a fruit. Saying tomatoes aren't a fruit because they don't taste like one is like saying a lemon isn't a fruit because it doesn't taste like one.
