I don't do team sports. I swim. That's individual :P More or less, the amount of effort the individual puts in directly correlates with the amount of success, not counting obvious genetic talent/ability. Team sports scare me. :P I don't like them very much -- I play tennis occasionally, but our school isn't really into the whole "school spirit" thing -- but you look at how everyone in my city treats Catholic school high school football and it's INSANE, because it's just a bunch of highschoolers tackling each other and stuff. :confused: High school sports can be vicious. edit: Earlier today.

Haha, you make quite a good point there. It's true that soldiers make good employees -- they tend to do what's needed. Honestly though, serious athletics does that as well -- I can already tell that's happening to me, and I'm fifteen and not in the army. :shrug:

Soldiers become soldiers to go to college without having to pay through the nose for it. Everyone I know who's joining the army cites this is as a reason; also people consider the military experience to be valuable -- both the parents and the kids do.

Only the one for us. Sophomore year I think the only college course we can take is World Civ. I think I'm taking either college-level Anatomy or A&P online over the summer though. I want to minimize the amount of work I have to do in college.
