What is your opinion on dating people you've never actually met?
I've tried it. Twice. Once with someone here, and once with a friend of one of my best friends in college. One thing I've learned is that there has to be a certain level of commitment for it to work. Of course, that goes for any relationship, but it's more so when it's long distance like that. If you don't have the time, patience, and/or willpower to get involved in something like that, don't do it. That's kinda what happened with me, particularly the first time with my friend's friend. It's not like it was a HUGE deal, given neither of these instances were long-term, anyway, but it was still rather annoying. Would I do it again? I don't know. I'd definitely be more wary of it, given my past experiences.

I'm here for YOULO.
Oh no. I think it WAS Till. Did it look anything like this?

I'm here for YOULO.
Oh. That makes sense. See, now I'm curious. Who might it have been that looked like Billie Joe, but wasn't? Was it anyone from Muse, perhaps? That's the only thing I can think of that I had as an avi recently apart from the one I currently have. Unless it was one of the other avatars of Till Lindemann that I have, which seems unlikely and would be rather odd. I'm putting way too much thought into this. :shame:

I'm here for YOULO.
...Billie Joe avatar? WUT. :wtf: Also, while your answer to my third question is valid, what I meant to ask was how they're able to comb their hair so neatly if they can't see in the mirror.

Coldplaying matchmaking thread
DUDE. I saw that episode on TV. That was really weird. I can't help but feel ashamed that I was part of that. :disappointed: (No offense to Michael, of course.)

I'm here for YOULO.
Wow. I have missed a bunch since I last was in the Lounge. OK. Here it goes. 1. Did you miss me? 2. If you didn't, do you suppose anyone else did? 3. If vampires don't have a reflection, then how do they keep their appearances up as well as they do?

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
"Redemption" is one of the best songs ever.

I'm glad to see this guy has a thread. He totally deserves one.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Omigawsh. I'm so excited for this album. I pretty much flipped when I heard they were using a choir. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT FOR SO LONG. :bigcry: But yeah. :wacky:

Songs you are currently really into/obsessed with.
^^ Since you brought up Lana del Rey... [ame= ] [/ame] I can't stop playing this song. I don't even know what it is about it. I just...HNNNNNG. :bomb:

If YOU Could Meet One Member Of Radiohead, Who Would It Be?
There's nothing impressive about making 6 consecutive posts in a thread that have no relevance to the topic at hand (which, ironically, Moonlife started). Seriously, man. I don't even know you like that, but seeing so many posts in a row is annoying and is technically considered to be spamming. Tone it down a bit. Anyway, to answer the question at-hand (so I don't post something completely off-topic myself), I'd probably go with Ed, just so I could stare at him as much as I wanted. :wideeyed:

2012 Albums Worth Listening To
I'm so behind. :disappointed: The only thing I've kinda listened to is "Tramp" by Sharon Van Etten. OMG I LOVE HER. :dazzled: I tried listening to Lana del Rey some time last week, but I get too caught up in "Video Games" to listen to anything else. :shame: I'll come back and share more when I actually make time to listen to things more thoroughly.

Dry The River
I have to wait 'til next month for this debut? Damn. :disappointed:

2012 - Your Most Anticipated Albums
:cheesy: :dazzled: Actually, I should probably get "A Night at Salle Pleyel" first. I still haven't gotten around to that. :disappointed: Thanks for the update!

Mother Mother
Yeah, I'll give it that much. It's different. It's just not quite the way I like it. I think it seems choppy to me due to the abrupt ending of his words. It's not like it's bad, though. If it were, I'd definitely say so.

YESSSSS. :cheesy:

Mother Mother
I'd really like this if his vocals weren't so choppy. His singing lacks flow, like he's putting unneeded periods in the middle of his sentences.

2012 Albums Worth Listening To
I haven't listened to anything from this year yet. :bigcry: It's nice to hear that Lana del Rey sounds good, though. It makes me even more excited for the album when I have time to get it. Oh, and I'm excited about Sharon Van Etten, especially seeing as I wasn't even aware she was releasing an album any time soon. :cheesy:

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Hello, my lovely Musers. I haven't posted here in a while, so I thought I'd drop by and say hello. What have I missed?

My approval: You have it. I thought I was the only one here who listened to The Bravery.

How many gigabytes of music do you have?
You should feel like a boss.

Pitchfork Readers Poll 2011
OMG. Eddie and I agree on something. :cheesy: Also, your last statement. I couldn't agree more. Um, yeah it is. IMO, anyway. I guess it's because, even though I don't listen to the radio anymore, I hear this song everywhere all the time, and it's really not that great to begin with. (I think it's their weakest track.) Tracks like "Call It What You Want" and "Broken Jaw" are so much better. I think all of his mixtapes are free on the Internet. But yeah, I really like him, too. This post reeks of ignorance. Haha, that's exactly what I thought, too. Glad I'm not the only one.

The 11th Mixtape Exchange (Mixtapes due December 30 at 11 pm GMT)
You're very welcome. :nice: I'm so happy you like Sufjan! :cheesy: For some reason, I had a feeling you might have made my tape. I wasn't sure, though. It's nice to have just made tapes for each other. Anyway, a few comments: 1. I think I'll definitely look more into Son Lux and Sonar Ghost. Especially Sonar Ghost. 2. OMG. It WAS Four Tet? DAMN. :laugh4: It's weird, too, because I love Jon Hopkins, and "Vessel" didn't come to mind at all as I was listening to it. I guess you showed me how good remixes can be. Thanks. 3. Now seeing that it's Crystal Castles, that makes sense. I'm not really a fan of noise pop in general. I applaud your effort, though. 4. Wow. I'm really surprised that was MGMT. I've heard a few of their songs and didn't like them. Hearing something of theirs that I do like changes things. I think I'll have to give them another chance. 5. LOL, Brian Eno. I'm not laughing at him; I just find it funny that it was his music. I imagined it to sound different than it does. Thanks so much again for making the tape! No wonder she likes it. That's a kickass tape, Marie. :wacky:

Pitchfork Readers Poll 2011
They got the #1 annoying hit single right on the money. I love Foster the People, but that song is just...UGH. However, I have to disagree with the hype about Tyler, the Creator. My feelings on him are about the same as Eddie's on James Blake. Actually, it's probably worse, but I'm trying to be nice about it. I agree with what Will said, though, about these being better than what the P4K staff released earlier. You go, readers! ETA: I love "Moves Like Jagger." Haterz gon' hate.
