I've just recently seen both the first and second Hobbit movies. :awesome: Now, I can actually come in here and talk about things in an intelligible level. I'm re-reading the book right now (I read it once waaaaay back in 7th grade), and honestly, I think I prefer the movies. They just have a more serious tone about them than the book does. (The book, for example, has so much needless singing in it by everyone. The elves in particular seem much more annoying because of it.) ANYWAY, THE MOVIES. I like them. A lot. And Ian McKellan is a badass. And Martin Freeman is absolutely adorable as Bilbo. And Richard Armitage is sexy as hell. OH AND BENEDICT. Don't even get me started. BEST DRAGON EVAR. :dazzled:

If I had put together a list in time for voting, this would look quite a bit different. Alas, I'm incredibly indecisive, particularly when it comes to ranking things in a numerical format.

...Yeah, we were waiting for that D'Angelo album last year. I'm not getting my hopes up. That would be nice. I don't know if that'll happen, though, considering that Knife Party seems to be Rob Swire's main project for the time being. That Kaiser Chiefs album better be an improvement from their last one. "The Future Is Medieval" was SUCH a buzzkill. New Thirteen Senses? Excellent. He's supposedly had it done for a while now. He just can't find a label for it. I hope he does put one out, especially if rumors of his retirement this year are true. I'd like to hear at least one more album from him before he calls it quits. That sounds like a good plan to me, too. I had one two nights ago. I was married to Avi Kaplan (bass of Pentatonix), and we had a young daughter. In the dream, he and our daughter decided they were going to make me breakfast in bed. They brought me pancakes. However, one of them had gotten part of an eggshell in the batter, and it ended up in my pancake. When I brought this to their attention, the daughter almost started crying. I then brought her up onto the bed with me and explained to her that it's the thought that counts and that it was very nice of her and her daddy to do something nice for me. I also told her that I loved both her and her dad very much. She then asked me which one of them I loved more. I told her that I loved them both equally, but in different ways. She asked me what I meant. I tried to explain to her that there's different types of love, but she didn't seem to quite understand. I finally had to tell her that I loved them differently because they're two different people. She seemed to accept that. I then proceeded to get out of bed to make breakfast for all three of us. Avi tried to protest and tell me that this was about me, but I got him to stop by telling him that if this is about me, then he should let me do it because I enjoy cooking for him. The dream ended with the three of us at a table eating French toast. I feel like this dream was oddly philosophical.
