Coldplay World Tour 2016 - 2017 Discussion
I'm still not sure on the new xylobands... I don't know what the concert experience is with them- if they add to the atmosphere or if it's just a "ok cool" feature- but to me the speaker doesn't seem that relevant, and as they previously said it probably increased the costs a lot. I want to know what people who attend the concerts think of them.

I don't mind them doing covers, but I thought Heroes would've been removed from the setlist by now

I completely forgot about the time-difference :shame: Are there any reports on what the new xylobands do?

Coldplay World Tour 2016 - 2017 Discussion
I'm very intrigued by the speakers on the xylobands... for price reasons I don't think they'd be very high quality (I don't really know how to put it) so I wonder what sounds will they play? :surprised: I'm also very excited to see what changes are made to the setlist... Can't wait!!

Coldplay World Tour 2016 - 2017 Discussion
Very interesting indeed :surprised: Does anyone know what is the purpose of the sawdust? Is it to create the "airbrush" effect or something? Sorry, I'm like the least artistic person ever (is it even sawdust? :uhoh:)

TV series worth watching (Netflix)
A couple more shows I'd recommend: Sense8 - While I was watching it it must admit I did think "what the hell am I watching?" but when I finished the season I realised I enjoyed it a lot. I loved the idea of 8 strangers being connected with each other. Can't wait for season 2. Arrested Development - A classic. Every time I watch it I laugh at new and old things. The last season wasn't that good but still enjoyable and funny. Don't Trust the B- in Apartment 23 - Very funny, it's a shame it got cancelled :( Narcos - A bit too much blood for my liking (it is a show about a drug dealer so...) but it's a good show, I liked it a lot.

[The Guardian] Chris Martin: Coldplay singer, philanthropist … and comedian?
To me he's always been a very funny person (with a sense of humor that I enjoy a lot), it's a shame most people don't realise that.

[2016-05-17] Coldplay to perform at The Late Show With Stephen Colbert
Jonny's solos were awesome :awesome: I also loved Chris singing the theme song, and when he tried not to laugh when Stephen called him a "fucking genius"

Up&Up Music Video

TV series worth watching (Netflix)
:surprised: If there's something I'm good at is watching tv shows, so I'll probably have a couple of recommendations (not that good at giving reviews though). However I'll start just just three and I'll post more later. Orphan Black - Probably my favourite series at the moment. It's on its fourth season and I'm still in awe of Tatiana Maslany. I didn't know anything about the plot when I started it and I enjoyed it very much, I'd recommend it to everyone else to do the same. I think the first three seasons are on netflix. Brooklyn Nine-Nine - My favourite comedy series at the moment. It's about a police precinct in NY. It was created by a guy that worked on The Office (US) and Parks & Recreation (both shows that I'd recommend too) so it's a similar type of show and has a similar kind of humor ; Andy Samberg is in it. Lost - My favourite tv show of all time and a very well know show too (You know, a plan crashes on an island full of weird stuff and you also get flashbacks of the lives of the people who survived). Very clever show, full of mysteries and good cliffhangers (which may get lost (lol) if you binge-watch it but...). I've met some people who just couldn't get into it. So, I'd recommend to watch some episodes (preferably the complete first season) and if you are not feeling it just drop it.

Finally here's my "review", which is more like how I managed to get an okay look from the main-stage and a pretty good one from the b and c stages on one night. Please take into account that most of this was written after being awake 23 hours. First things first. Until Saturday I was still bitter about the cancelled 2013 Latin American tour; it may sound a bit stupid but it's true. However, in my eyes, they have completely redeemed themselves and gave me even more than that. On to the "review": I went with two of my friends who like Coldplay a lot but aren't willing to line up super early and that stuff (ditched them after the b-stage and it was the best thing I could've done, but more of that later). So we got there around 4.30, doors opened at 5 but since we were sooooo far behind on the queue we entered the venue around 6. Of course the front part was full-ish and the whole thing up to the b-stage had like 4 rows of people at least. We positioned ourselves next to the b-stage and the waiting game began. (Little parenthesis: Lianne is awesome! Well done Coldplay on choosing her!) Just before the show began a group of what seemed the tallest guys in the venue got in front of me. I was not happy but I told myself they would eventually move (they didn't). So I spent the first part of the show not being able to see ANYTHING, not even the screens. I told myself to resist until the b stage happened and then I'd see what I was going to do. B-stage came around and it was cool! They played Ink! I was the only person singing around all the lyrics but I didn't care (more on that later). However my vision was still being partially blocked by phones and tall people :( So I started to walk away from the stage until I saw a group of very short girls so I told myself: "If they can see, I can see as well" and they did have a pretty good view, plus it wasn't packed and you could jump and dance freely. When it was time for the c-stage I looked back and was right in my line of view. "Nice!" I though. Then I saw people running towards the stage and I realised almost no one was there. So I ran as well and got a pretty good spot to watch the c-stage. AROBTTH! O.M.G. Since Friday's setlist had it but they didn't play it I was secretly hoping we'd see it on Saturday. And we did! I sang my lungs out and the guy on my left joined me as well, I felt like I got some pretty weird looks but whatever. Then Don't Panic and I screamed so hard "JONNYYYYY" and when he started singing as well and I got even more weird looks  When the Amazing Day intro started I made my way back to my previous place since a lot of people had moved to see the c-stage. And enjoyed the rest of the show! It was incredible! I'm still in awe and I can't believe I got to experience hearing live Ink, AROBTTH and Don't Panic (plus Jonny singing :awesome:) on one night. Plus the other songs which are so fun and amazing as well. I finally got to experience the xylobands and I was in awe. Now I just want to see the show once again but not from the pit to be able to see all the visuals and everything :P The 6-year wait was definitely worth it. But I don't want to wait so much again! Here's a picture of the three views I had that night:

Coldplay World Tour 2016 - 2017 Discussion
I guess it has to do with friday being the the third show announced after a lot of people had bought their tickets for saturday/sunday, and also most people have sunday off work so it's a bit more convenient to attend the show on sunday than on friday. Edit: I think the band were travelling around in a private plane. And he tweeted at British Airways ... maybe he's with part of the crew but not the band or something

Post piccies of the sexy Mr Berryman..
I don't know about you but I just loooooove Guy playing the drums! So I told myself I had to get a video of that when they played HFTW, even if it was recorded from the screens. So I just want to share it with you because I think he always looks so good doing that:

Coldplay World Tour 2016 - 2017 Discussion
I remember reading that there was some disappointment that they were just playing 22 songs or so during this tour. And I just wanted to say that before attending the show I thought the same, but now that've been lucky enough to experience it I can say that it feels right. Of course once the show ends you want them to keep playing forever but you don't get the "ugh, they played so little!" feeling I've gotten at other shows. And I also now understand the lack of encore, the show has such a nice pace that it just makes sense.

Yes the hardest part was the requested song, however I think maybe there was a mixup with the request thing or something? Because I saw a picture of the printed setlist and the request was AROBTTH by Aranxa and I remember clearly Chris said the request was by Aranxa (sounds like my name but written differently so I definitely can't be wrong about this) and on the video there was a group of girls requesting the hardest part...
