Thanks for the info! I'm a 'stand at the back of the pit and watch a great show' kind of fan, so I think I'll be fine in any case. Just didn't want to have a bad view, but I guess since I am tall anywhere in the pit should be a good view, right? But I didn't think about getting in for the soundcheck, wow....will have to talk to my concert buddies about what time we all want to get there.

LOL! The pit is the place to be, woooooo! :dance: Does anyone have any info yet about how to get a good place in the pit? Do we need to arrive early and line up to get a good spot, or is there a lottery? Help! I've never been in the pit before at Nissan so I'm a bit stressed :D @ Liz, did you get my PM about the Keane tix? Let me know if you're interested, if not I need to get them listed on Craig's list or something! Would be cool to meet you twice in one week LOL!

Yes, but who knows how long it will last? Mew's album is coming out in a couple of months, Coldplay is back on tour in 5+ weeks, and a-ha's new single is rumored to be out sometime in June, so I am hoping the boys do something big before life gets in the way again ;)

Eh....(tries to think of 'news' and failing) How about this? a-ha's South American gigs are over and the band has reportedly all gone home. And according to this, the Coldplay guys are back home as well. So who knows? After everyone has a few hours - ok, maybe we can give them a few days LOL - to rest, maybe we'll have some news then :D Chin up! :)

Thanks for these other pictures! I guess I could do some more exploring on the forum and find some great stuff about Coldplay and Guy in particular but I don't know where to start. Can you lovelies post some links to key threads that a newbie would want/need to read? :) Well I can't resist that invitation! Been running around a lot today though (doing my taxes, visiting the in-laws, dodging raindrops, etc) so no time now to write much. But here's a picture for now anyway :D Off to get laundry done, but I'll stop by later when I get a chance to sit still for more than five minutes!

True but I think we can easily say our Magne isn't happy without at least 12 projects going on at once. It's when that 13th or 14th project comes along that he starts getting stretched a little thin ;) Something tells me that Guy is the same way. Since I am a relative newb to the whole Coldplay thing (although I've liked their music forever, I don't know much about them personally), and since we're waiting for new stuff from Apparatjik, how about you Guy fans tell us a bit more about Mr. Berryman? :D

Yes it has! Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but a-ha is doing three gigs this week in South America so Magne has been in a-ha mode recently. I have no idea what Mew is up to but have heard they are going to release an album this summer. With all this going on and Coldplay on the road, could be the guys decided to pause on the Apparatjik stuff for now? I guess we all kinda knew the guys would have to do this from time to time, since they have so many things going on all the time ;)

OMG, a meetup would be great! I am going to the show with two others who are not on this forum, but we've been to fan meetups for other bands before and it's always a blast! Unfortunately it's a weeknight concert, and I don't live/work that close to the venue...I'm already leaving work early on May 19 to see Keane in DC (anyone here going to that one too?!) so it could be hard to sneak out on the 21st for Coldplay :laugh3: How about we pick one of the bars inside Nissan and meet there when the gates open? What my friends and I will probably do is one of us will stake out a spot in the pit and the others can meet up at the bar with the coldplayers; then we'll switch so each of us gets a chance for a drink among friends ;) @guyluvsliz, it's so lucky that you're able to catch a gig while traveling for another reason!!

Nope, all the ones I got were in that range too, and all in section 101 which is off to the side. Tomorrow I'm going to try to get GA tix if there are any. Crossing fingers for something decent! Good luck to those of you who have decided to wait it out and try your chances! :)

I'm searching and all I get is Row U, what is the point of a presale that gets you crappy seats? It's happening for all the gigs I am going to this year, been getting much better seats in the regular sale :-(
