Was just watching NBC and they're going overboard with commercials leading up to the 'big' premiere of Jay Leno's new show tonight and who's one of the guests? Kanye. Starting to wonder if his stunt last night was staged (obviously not with Taylor's knowledge) in order to make sure people watch the Leno show tonight. The commercial I just saw for Leno listed tonight's guests and the announcer said "...and Kanye West. Yes that's right, we said Kanye. We're that timely." Hmm, yeah, well done keeping it 'fresh' and 'edgy' ... :thinking:

To me it looks like the Mona Lisa with scaffolding around her face, kind of like a statement about the construction of ... (mumble.. mumble.. wish I had something clever to say but I'll just fake it and drink more coffee and hope you won't notice I have nothing intelligent to say about what this might mean...why didn't I pay closer attention to iconography in art history class?!) :D

Hey Paula, don't be freaked out babe :) A little story to make you feel better? Back in September 2004, Magne launched his first solo website, http://www.magne-f.net and his webmaster (who still works for him and is all kinds of awesome) would stop by different a-ha forums every now and then, and let the fans know when there were updates to Magne's website, and answer questions when he could. I always thought it was cool that someone took the time to see what Magne's fans were discussing, what questions they had, and even welcomed suggestions for improving his website. It makes total sense (as a webmaster myself by trade) to understand your web audience and do some research about who is visiting your site and what they are getting out of it :) So it could be that the folks who run apparatjik.com have that same approach to understanding their web audience and have stumbled on this thread (it *is* one of the top Google search results LOL). I wouldn't worry too much about anyone seeing our crazyness, surely by now those Apparatjiks know who they're dealing with LOL!

Hey doll, On the first page you come to with the big cube on it, there is a music player on the bottom - you press the plus or minus to move through the tracks, and the exlamation point to pause a track etc. So to hear the fun audio mix, just cycle through the songs on the player til you get to Frozen Fingers, then open that link I posted above in another browser so you can hear the audio of both songs at once :D

Well boo! The purpose of a countdown is to know when something is going to happen :P Thanks for clearing that up, I figured it was a system setting calculation thingy but that still doesn't make sense then because we're all counting down to a different time LOL.

Hey chicks, possibly a super dumb question, but when is the countdown counting down to on your computers? Because for me, the countdown goes to midnight EST - meaning midnight Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. But since none of the guys are based in EST, I think it is highly unlikely that whatever is going to happen will happen at midnight my time which is 5:00am GMT :laugh3: I suppose their techie guru has set up the countdown to be specific to each person's own time zone? So maybe if you are based in the UK it is counting down to midnight GMT Tuesday night? Or is your countdown counting down also to 5:00 am GMT on Wednesday? Sorry to be so dense, I am sure it makes sense but I just don't get it :P

Nope, that's not true - I run several twitter accounts, some of which are private and some of which are public, and I just tested it. If your account is set to private, the only way someone can see your tweets is if they are following you back :\ (meaning you've given them permission to see your tweets by letting them follow you) I think this is why a lot of famous people (or rather whoever runs their accounts) tends to follow back anyone following them - so they can keep up a two-way communication with their followers even if their followers' profiles are private. It surely isn't because they have time to keep up with thousands of people's tweets every day ;)
