More about Lebanon, people are still talking about the war that ended 17 years ago:\, no one has forgiven the other:veryangry2::veryangry2:...and our brilliant leaders decided 4 years ago to bring back those who started the war:shifty::huh::anxious:all those years ago from prison, exile...so in 2005 they all came back at once (can you imagine, they were against each other, destroyed the country...killed thousands came back within a few days of each others...they hated each others then...and now:anxious:) all this caused a civil war-like day on may 7th 2008, there was riots and shootings all over the country, it started on a university campus and...sometimes i just want want to throw the tely out of the window :shout::furious:, the only thing we see is politicians, we haven't had a government since June, 5 year old kids talk politics, electricity blackouts are normal (they have scheduals and everything for when and where to turn the power on, usually 10 hours a day, we have to depend on generators...we pay twice, and they always break down, you have to plan ahead and see when the power goes out to see a movie without interruption), you cnt live here if you don't understand arabic, french and english, they ware you out at school (last year, 11 th grade, i had 18 obligatory subjects, this year 16...bleh) Syrian men live on the streets here looking for work, i'm afraid of walking alone, they don't even shower... we have a thing called "wasta" i don't think that word exsists in any other language, only in the Lebanese dialectic, and it's like "the hook up" you know someone who's in power you get everything you want... i've seen sudents who suck at school keep going up grades bcz they have a wasta, and they are brought the test answers before the test...corruption everywhere...i have to go electricity goes out in 15 mins and it take about 10 more to generators to kick in (bad news for those afraid of the dark...:sneaky:

When you lend you mp4 player to a friend in class, after of course recommind your fav coldplay song...and then he gives it to another person, you notice he is looking at the pictures you uploaded on it and you start noticing he had the weirdest expression on his face after seeing over 250 pics of coldplay on you mp4...he was so shocked that the teacher had to ask him if something was wrong :laugh3: :laugh3: and then he asks someone else to give it back to you :shocked: :laugh2: and when that same mp4 breaks down 3 days later and you throw it out, start crying bcz you lost all of the coldplay songs and videos you could get your hands on forever and would not be able to have your coldplay dose anytime you want :bigcry::bigcry:

too bad :sad: but if you want to see it look it up, it was uploaded about 6 different times:laugh3:

Too many problems in Lebanon...oh my i have no idea where to start, but i want to say first that i wouldn't leave here in a million years♥♥♥ okey first is all the Palestinians refugees living in camps all over lebanon, they started to arm themselves back in the 70s to fight Israel, a group of Lebs said we should support them, another said no...all lead to a 16 years civil war (before beirut was paris of the middle east...google it to know more) and as you might know, all the corruption and bad consequence of war don't go away once the war is over, but double...so 30 after the war and we're still paying the price we have billions of dollars of dept, corruption in most of the government's offices, 15 million lebanese have immigrated (only 3 million live here)...enough about the war...there are over 1 million syrian men living on the streets here looking for work (painting houses, builders...) Iraqi refuges are treated like ****, worst tv shows you could imagine, bad music (each girl who likes what she sees in the mirror wants to sing, music videos are what a stripper might do, cover your ears...but it's not all bad we have some AMAZING music), every time a politician demands a free lebanon he gets assassinated along with some 10 others who happened to be out when the bomb went off, Hezbollah has caused us massive losses in 2006, every time hassan Nasrallah (hezbollah leader) is on tv his followers start firing guns in the air, many people get hurt, us christians are afraid that some day we might all leave bcz of them...:cry: :cry2: i should come back and post later, i have to go now ;) __________________ the cedar revolution Lebanon needs coldplay
