I bought a cheap one to use at gigs, I brought it to two festivals (where it worked perfectly) and then it just randomly broke one day when I was looking at my photos on it. Not that I can really talk, I've recently just bought a replacement that runs on AA batteries (cos I want to use it at splendour) and it can't seem to focus properly on anything, lol.

Is anyone else signed up to the Basement Birds mailing list? I got an email just this morning with details to their 'one and only' tour and an oppurtunity to buy tix before the general public, deets below... I'm thinking of just getting the second option.

Haha! I suppose even the fangirls know better than to think the show would actually be better from the back! A few of the rumours flying around on the muse board include The Living End, who are apparently releasing another album later this year...

Also, today my friend bought me tickets to a concert that's being held to celebrate the opening of a new bridge in Brisbane, with the likes of Angus and Julia Stone, Bob Evans, Josh Pyke and Yves Klein Blue... yay :D

Yeah there's something similar with the entertainment centre here, they were originally going to have a barrier (like they do for all concerts, apparently) through the middle of the pit but it's now just going to be one big area.

Haha, thanks but I'll see how I go with the bit tour posters that are up around the city... thanks anyway though! :P OH and I forgot to mention this on here but a couple of weeks ago I stumbled across this new magazine, called Frequency... it's a poster magazine, for those of you who like posterage :P It calls itself an 'indie-rock poster magazine' and has posters from the likes of Vampire Weekend, The Killers, The Temper Trap, Arctic Monkeys, Grizzly Bear, Kings of Leon, Kasabian, Mumford & Sons, The Strokes, Muse and Passion Pit, among others. I'm yet to actually put any up (waiting for exams to be over...) but it'll make my room much more exciting :P

So apparently they don't have any left in brisbane :(

Lawn? Where's the show being held? I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be able to afford any more concerts this year now, haha. In other news, this is the map of the Exhibition centre, which shows that they'll be bringing the pillars down here for the shows :awesome:

Just a heads-up, I got there at like 3 for Coldplay last year and there were already quite a few people there! I'm thinking 3 at the latest haha. My friends are going to think I'm mad!
