I thought of a lot but basically all of them came under a blanket term of "women are allowed to adopt masculine and feminine traits with pride but men can be scrutinized for doing the same" I can wear make-up and a pink dress if I chose to, then a suit with dress shoes the next day if I chose to Women who are dominant in relationships are seen as cool but men who are submissive aren't Like we just said, there's more of a pressure, really more of a sick paranoia, to come off as heterosexual as possible Uhh if parents get divorced the mother pretty much always gets the custody In family sitcoms/commercials etc. fathers are portrayed as idiots who can't get the stove open and the wife laughs at him and does it for him I can cry to get away with things sometimes uhh :anxious: Men feel shame for small penis size but women feel a significantly lesser amount of worry for having small breasts... or a shallower vagina? Nobody opens doors specifically for men etc. (well really nobody does chivalrous things in general anymore, I just open doors for anyone who's nearby, but I've seen it here and here so) Just some that came from the top of my head And these are all general statements, I'm not gonna edit every single sentence out to say "SOME men" "SOME women" you know what I mean

Really? I tell girls all the time that they're beautiful, they have nice eyes, whatever, even sometimes that they have a nice body lmao if I think so and nobody takes a second thought at it. I wish it could be the same for men. (I mean, they are capable of doing it of course but they are under pressure to not do it so that really sucks!)

I wonder if the politics will ever change here, I see political grafitti and posters a lot but the attempts are to no avail and laws can be changed so rapidly that even if someone does make a change, they can be changed back in a flash. I mean I don't follow politics a whole lot so I just have my observations mostly. But I would like to do something about those orphans like you said, something for children, so they can have the opportunity to go to the nice schools that they have here. The best I can do is to ask my mom to do something personally next time we visit here or contribute to some sort of charity? How do you know if a charity is good and true to their cause Uhh on another note, what did I do today I went to Dracula's castle, not overwhelmingly exciting as it is just seeing ordinary rooms, it's not some haunted themed amusement park (although they did have some sort of haunted house outside to attract tourists) but it was pretty uplifting and spiritual to see something hundreds and hundreds of years old that royalty used to live in, especially since I now live in a country so young that doesn't really have anything like that Oh and in Buzau there's a forest, and all the stones have been carved into busts and abstract sculptures and stuff like that, so it's literally a forest full of sculptures. There was this summer camp for arts students that would learn to sculpt there over the years, and in the end I guess they left them all to turn into a big outdoor museum. One of the coolest things I've ever seen. EDIT: I was so sleepy when I wrote this, you have no idea how many missing fragments of sentences and typos it had hahah

Edited my post. Sorry! I felt like you were trying to address that post directly as me being spoiled and uncaring of others. I didn't realize that it wasn't that way at all and it's more of a general thing.

It is really awful yes, the poor here are even worse off then the poorest in the US. While I wouldn't be without food and water on a constant basis, my mom showed me where I would've grown up and the type of education I would've ended up with if I didn't move somewhere else by complete luck and it was a really stark realization for me.
