Yes It's confusing because I don't know what I want, I was never exposed to this kind of music at home, I kinda had to find out about music for myself and my knowledge is still very limited. But given that we're on a music forum about a band, we must have similar preferences so if you guys gave me suggestions I think I would like them tl;dr yes classic bands pls

becoming a coldplay fan was the first time i ever took music 'seriously' and didn't just listen to pop music on the radio but in this (rather short) time i've been exposed to music, i haven't listened to anything.. uh.. not modern except for maybe radiohead, björk, sigur ros but that doesn't really count like i've never REALLY listened to the beatles AM I A SHAME OF THE LORD i guess i'm interested in either something poppy or electronic-y as well as psychedelic music or something that's rather repetitive and catchy and stays in your head? this is obviously a very broad set of criteria but i just want to hear of something YOU enjoy halp pls oh god please guide me on the right road to being a "proper" music lover
