Firstly I'm just curious how the tracklist will be like. Anyway, it feels a bit strange with regard to a release date in late October - still 2 months to go... -.- But yeah...if they promoto the album well and give some nice interviews about it then I will wait... as I said before...the most important thing for me is the tracklist...I mean you know so much possible song titles and after three years you're just nervous which songs made the cut and which not.

Come on...the charts aren't important for Coldplay. Their songs are often not that radio friendly. Look at Clocks - doubtless a masterpiece of all time and then look at the chart rankings... ETIAW is played often in the radios, it has a acceptable chart position and sells... everything is ok. :)

Its hard for me to believe that they will find new motivation after this 3 year process of recording a new album in which they put everything. I really look forward because it will be a masterpiece, so its hard to make a new album afterwards...

Hmm...a matter of personal taste, so no problem with that, but without ANY doubt we can describe the importance of Sgt. Pepper for the whole music industry. Look at the cover, the techniques, it was the first concept album of all time, new effects and influences...definitely it has a big big influence for the rock and pop music later... this album was a mind-blowing masterpiece for this time.

Come on guy, do you really know "Sgt. Pepper's" by the Beatles? :shocked2::P This album has his footprint in so much envolvments of music...

And this is really interesting because Sgt. Pepper is obviously one of the biggest or the most important pop album of all time which shows that Rossi clearly thinks that the new record will be a masterpiece.

I'm really sure that they won't just give us an official announcement on their website without further promotion/teasers. Maybe they announce an radio interview where they tell us the album name and the release date, afterwards they publish the official news on their website with the tracklist.

Hmm...Viva la Vida has this popfeeling...can't describe it. Of course its a bit different to the radio crap but it was a real pop song. PoC sounds a bit versed but I can't hear how the studio version will be. At the moment the song and the sound is too strange for me to be on the radio. Nevertheless I love this song so much!
