Oh... I'm very sorry Anna :( ... I didn't at all realise that the title might cause a tiny stir... :thinking: And yeh, I'd love to be involved in the hyseria behind a leak, I got caught up in the untreleased demo's thing a while back, the one with Bloodless Revolution and St Stephen and The fall of man etc... But that is hardly as cool as an album! So what about the sources of these leaks then huh? :\

I'm a new enough fan to have never been on these boards when an album has been leaked. Infact I'm not certain which LP has been leaked in the past, I heard that VLV was leaked, but I dunno about the rest. I'd just like to know how these come-about really? And how long before a release date does it generally or possibly happen too? Cause even though I really hope that LP5 is not leaked, if it is, I am not strong enought to resist the temptation of getting it asap :( I'll still buy it ofc when its released for real, but I just will not be able to wait any longer! Plus, have other leaks been posted on here?... Thanks! :D

He uses Hiwatt cabinets and Celestion speakers as far as I know, but does anyone know his setup? Or his effects/pedals? - Plus, what is a toneblender??? I have heard he uses one! help..... :)

Hiya guys, I'm a bassist! Have not been playing long, maybe a few month. I have a Guy Bass... ok ok ok, most will call it a "P-Bass" lol. I have the bass, a 20 watt practice amp, and all of the time and enthusiasm (oh and coldplay love!) in the world! I'm trying to start a band off with my (amazingly good) guitarist friend, and I can play some Coldplay songs already, like Yellow ofc, VLV, Violet hill (so cool on bass!), Clocks, Politik!!!!!... and lots more, inc glass of water (in my own little way, but mostly correct :) ) and rainy day too :D I wanna know about what Guy uses, I imagine he uses Hiwatt cabs, and possibly/apparently Celestion speakers yeh? But he seems to get this smoothness with his tone which must be down to more than his (stunning) picking technique! One site I looked at a while back said it was a "toneblender" dunno what that even is, or where/how/why to get one! Any help...??? pretty please :)

How will this affect Coldplay? I mean who will they have to sign up to? And, after the fantastico interview when we were all stunned about the revelations that the band is indeed NOT on a 5-album deal, but on an unspecified deal which is longer! Maybe Universal, or Sony... whatever way this goes, I just have the horrible feeling that Coldplay are gonna be forced to do all the things they try and avoid, especially not wanting to be seen as the "Money-making juggernaught" who play to stadia and stadia of millions of fans world-over. And... - HOW WILL THIS AFFECT THE LP5!!!!????

Help meeeee........ (please :)) Hi, I have just formed a new band, and right now we are short of a member, the Chris of our band is missing, and this means the Rythm guitarist/pianist. I'm in desperate need of some coldplay songs which only require 3 people, i.e the Bassist, Lead G, and Drummer. I think I know that Talk, and In my place are in this category, but I'm not absolutely certain, could anyone name some that aren't really gonna be too crazily difficult to do please? (edit) P.S. If anyone wants to mention non-coldplay stuff without the need of the 2nd guitarist, then shoot! We just need some more meaningful stuff than Greenday and Muse is all!

^^^ Well there has been no actual desicion made to say it will be a guitar i must point out. And yeh, someone with a paypal account is needed, and to mirror william3000, (sorry I don't know your real name, unless it's william of course lol :s ) I could do it, but again its a decent responsibility and having only posted 100 times on here, there isn't enough of a reason to trust me with all this!! Therefore, I probably wouldn't feel comfortable doing it. If everyone put in £5 or the equivalent, and we somehow managed to get perhaps 500 people, which is a stretch I know, then it would be around £2500, which could mean we buy 3 items perhaps and have two-runners up prizes?? Just a suggestion but I'm sorry for over-complicating it already!!

Well personally I don't agree that 2£/$/euros is enough, or that 200 people are ready and willing to do this either... I know as Ian has pointed out he will not be able to sort this out personally, but who can, and who can we trust?? I know it sounds silly but it has to be someone who is a real reguler on here, and someone people have met for real and can vouch-for. And yeh, per ticket I suppose would be the way to do it, and people could be given a ticket number, and it can be done just like a raffle of course. The main issue seams to be how we would handle and record the actual transaction of paying our ticket price........?
