  14. Okay. Here's a coloring tutorial for all of you, as requested by BAM_87. I'll write more tutorials later on. This: To: Program: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Steps: 11 Step 1. Re-size your image. I always use 100 x 100. Step 2. Crop your image. (Position your image that looks interesting, not just placed on). Step 3. Duplicate your base and sharpen it. Lower the opacity to 65 - 70% Step 4. Create a colored balance layer and keep it as Normal at 12% Settings: Midtones: +28 -16 +4 Step 5. Duplicate your base and drag it to the top of all layers. Set to overlay at 10% Step 6. Duplicate your base again, drag to the top of all layers and set to Soft Light at 51% Step 7. Create another color balance layers and keep it as Normal at 100% Settings: Midtones: +9 -27 -26 Step 8. Create a new layer and fill with this color #002157. Set to Exclusion at 50% Step 9. Create another new layer and fill with this color #2c2404. Set to Multiply at 9% (Now go to Image > Apply Image > Blending: Soft Light). Step 10. Create a Hue/Saturation layer and keep as Normal at 100% Settings: Edit: Master Saturation: +5 Step 11. Create a color balance layer and set to Soft Light at 49% Settings: Midtones: +26 +23 +5 DONE. Remember: Some layers may need to be changed. As in some may need to be deleted, more need to be added or opacity and blending needs to be changed. Thanks and hopefully it helps some of you out. ;)

Chris and Guy are are the opposite. :rolleyes: Oh, and everything else recently posted is wonderful as well. @BAM_87: Try making some avatars without text. Sometimes the text doesn't always look well with the avatar. Again, not putting you down, it's just another tip.
