I've read some great poems here and want to read more. I thought I'd share one of mine. I have a lot more, but I'll post them soon. Oh, and I hope it's not a bother that I am kind of bumping this old thread. I haven't been writing for long at all. I have Coldplay to thank for getting me started. I use them for inspiration all of the time. :rolleyes: Hope you enjoy this poem/song. I just remembered a lyric that I have misheard. Song: Yes I had thought the chorus went: "If you're lonely. If you're lonely say yes." :P Correct lyrics: "If you'd only. If you'd only say yes."

Yeah, I guess when you point out that the album is an hour long, that does seem very long for an album. I guess I never really notice the length of it because I never usually listen from the beginning of an album to the end, much at all. I do when first buy them, but than I am too excited to care how long it is and I don't want it to end. I just shuffle and whatever comes, comes.

I don't understand how you can argue the fact that it's too long. I am completely happy with more Coldplay songs. And I like Twisted Logic because it has a good message behind it. In my opinion. Anyway, I can't believe some people actually don't like Fix You. I honestly thought every Coldplay fan liked it.

I think someone did. :( I think X&Y and Twisted Logic are great songs. I think they're very different.

Yeah. It's: "And a fox became God." I always thought it was: "And the fog became God," as well. I got so many lyrics wrong in Violet Hill, but amazingly I haven't had much trouble at all with the other songs. Like I've read your guys misheard lyrics and I wouldn't even think that's what it was. You guys have some pretty funny ones, though!

These got to be the most funniest misheard lyrics I've read. Ever. :laugh3:
