No, it's not very different at all, actually. It'd be a breeze, so I hope they make their way over there more often. Until then you can do what Mexican and Australian Frengers did: START A MYSPACE PAGE (or find one) THAT BRINGS CANADIAN MEW FANS TOGETHER AND GETS THEIR ATTENTION!!! They're sure to make more of an effort promoting themselves. Maybe tour with a top Canadian indie band? Arcade Fire, perhaps? Broken Social Scene? Metric? Maybe not a perfect fit, but it's something.
