  1. So last night, I was feeling extremely unproductive and decided to watch nothing but live YouTube videos of Muse for about three hours. Oi. I couldn't stop ogling Matt while watching Reading 2006. :blank: But yeah. I. Need. To. See. This. Band. Live. On another note, my friend bought a Muse poster for me. :awesome: My roommate isn't that pleased, because she says Matt's creepy eyes keep following her everywhere she goes.
  2. Is "shutter shades" the correct name for those ones? I always called them the Kanye West glasses. Yay for learning something new. Yep, Chris burnt his hand with one right when they got on stage. I can't remember which gig it was, though.
  3. ^ YES. :awesome: Complete with the blue LED glasses. Just don't burn yourself and others with those sparklers. :anxious:
  4. Something crazy and colorful. :jester: With lots of sparkles. :wacky: I can't think of any specific costume, though. :blank:
  5. Me too! I'm not sure about a jukebox musical that would use Coldplay's songs from their past albums, but new music composed specifically for a show/musical would be pretty fantastic. :wacky:
  6. I had a dream that hundreds of people from CPing were gathered in some dark, creepy theatre for a huge announcement related to Coldplay. The big news was that they were going to compose songs and music for some new Broadway show. We clapped and cheered. And then I woke up.
  7. :cheesy: Thanks so much, Natt!
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOU FUNNY AND WONDERFUL MAN YOU
  9. I'd like to see the article, if you don't mind!
  10. Dido is pregnant, so she wasn't able to perform. source.
  11. ^^ I immediately thought of Dom when I read that interview question and Matt's answer.
  12. This! It was a wonderful idea to include the drawings. I also love the scene when Gandalf tells Pippin about how death is just another journey and Into the West plays in the background. :bigcry: I'm gonna check out Dido's version. She and A.R. Rahman made a music video of it recently too. :escaping:
  13. It will be pretty interesting to see in what ways becoming a dad will influence the lyrics and music. That is, if it does in the first place. More epic guitar/bass riffs and solos, please? :awesome:
  14. I personally really like Undisclosed Desires (I know a lot of Musers don't, and I can understand why, but . . . I JUST LIKE IT :blank: ). Still, I'm not too sure I want them to go in that direction. But hey, if they want to experiment more and it turns out great, then that's cool.
  15. Into the West. Flo's singing was gorgeous last night. It's a shame that the performances are fairly short, though.
  16. ^ Yay for Pisces! :awesome: The past year flew by quite quickly. I remember the excitement for Chris' birthday before the gig in Brazil. :wacky:
  17. ^ WASSUP! Needless to say, I'm looking forward to what they'll do for LP6, even though it's going to be a while before it's released.
  18. Another interview from the NMEs. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm8GMbZR7wE&feature=player_embedded]"Muse NMEs."[/ame] And I'll just leave these here . . . Can Dom get any more adorable? :wacky: :wacky: :wacky: :wacky: :wacky:
  19. Yep! Unless there's a last-minute change or something like that.
  20. Those aMUSEd cartoons are so cute! I like it. I really like listening to those acapella-Muse-song type of things. Someone found one for Exogenesis Part 3, and Matt's voice sounded quite lovely. :wacky:
  21. Random funny quote time! I've been reading a bunch of articles and interviews related to Muse that were written during the Showbiz and OOS eras. This one was taken from some article back in 2000. June 28th 2000, to be precise. I think the band and the interviewer were visiting the Tate Modern art museum and looking at this huge spider sculpture. The mental image of Matt freaking out about spiders and his reasoning behind his fears makes me laugh. The poor guy. source.
  22. ^ That NME picture is so adorable. :wacky: *right-click, save*
  23. Exactly! Chilling out, drinking his Red Bull, and staying away from drunk!Matt.
  24. Definitely. :nice: As for why it's my third favorite album, I guess it's just because I like the other two albums I mentioned a lot more. :blank: Not a very good answer, I know. With AROBBTH, I was happy they started writing more "rock-like" songs (e.g., GPASUYF), yet they still had the emotion and sincerity in their music. VLVODAAHF is a huge departure from Parachutes, but I just love how majestic and grand it sounds.
