Well here goes the first chapter which means the previous one was a prologue:rolleyes: I Will Try To Fix You Chapter 1 The sounds of the cars and people on the streets were the first things he became aware of in the dawn. The loud voices, the noisy traffic, the city waking up. Everything that transported him out of his thoughts into real life. He never told anyone but he didn’t stay in the hotel rooms, deciding to not give sleep a try and going to the roof instead. Up there everything appeared to be clear for him, every problem had a concealed solution. Because of this, that’s where he went to write. Yes, he had been writing songs for a couple of years now, on and off. But these last few months presented him the opportunity to write incessantly. Mainly, he didn’t plan what he wrote, he just did it impulsively, without any previous thought. Afterwards he would hum some melody that somehow came attached to the lyrics and everything would fit beautifully. But he couldn’t comprehend the beauty of it because he didn’t see it. That’s why he never to showed his work to his friends. He knew Chris was a great lyricist and there was no way they would ever contemplate the idea of including those “little texts”, as he saw them, on some record. They wouldn’t even want to hear it, he knew. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Hey, is everything okay with you?” Jonny asked Guy, worriedly. They finished their soundcheck ten minutes before and Guy was standing in the same position as he had been the whole time they were playing. Looking straight ahead into the deserted arena, holding his bass in a detached way. “Huh? Oh, yeah...uh, I’m fine.” He responded, coming out of his haze. He found out the bay before that Joanna was getting married in three months and moving permanently to London. She told him that the only way he would see his daughter was if he came to her future home to visit. To visit. He would only visit his daughter’s home, he wouldn’t be a part of it any longer. Joanna prepared him for the fact that he wouldn’t see her daughter on a daily basis which was what he was used to these days. So, he was...fine. “Are you sure? Cause you don’t seem like you are...” his friend tried one more time. “ What do you say we go out for a bit and walk around the city and grab something to eat?” “I don’t feel like walking, Jon. Sorry.” He didn’t feel like eating as well. Actually, he didn’t feel like doing anything at all. With that in mind, he set his bass down and walked backstage, straight to his dressing room, not looking up once along the way. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “I know. He has been very distant lately.” Will replied. Jonny and Chris had approached a few minutes ago, wanting to talk about the dark-haired man that has been worrying them for quite some time. “I heard him talking to someone on the phone the other day and it’s like he became drained of his emotions ever since. I mean, he has been very quiet ever since we started this part of the tour but... Something is seriously wrong now.” Chris pointed out, afraid his friend might be having very serious problems that he hasn’t shared with the rest of them. He knew it wasn’t in Guy’s nature to just start a conversation and talk about his feelings and issues but maybe that was exactly what he needed right now. Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to help him. “We have to talk to him. It can’t go on like this. He doesn’t even talk to us anymore. He just stands there and plays what he has to play in concerts. Outside them, he just reads and works on his computer... Enough of this. You wanna talk to him now, guys?” Will asked the other two. “Let’s go. He’s in his dressing room.” Jonny answered him and promptly led the way. The three musicians, each absorbed with their own thoughts, didn’t know what would come of this talk. Don't expect another one this fast;)

Thank you so much for the reviews! It really means a lot to me:) Well, about continuing, I hope I get inspired or something because I don't want to post something that no one likes. I also have a big weakness which is: English is not my first language obviously;) I do love to read all fanfics in here though, so to everybody that's writing, keep giving us your wonderful stories please.

Well, this is what you get when you should be studying for your tomorrow's Social Psichology exam:thinking: It just kind of came to me, it's angsty and I don't know what comes next or if anything will come from this at all. ###################### I Will Try To Fix You It was hard seeing them everyday so happy. While their band mates had someone to rely on, someone to love and love them back, someone to comfort them when they felt a bit down. Guy Berryman didn’t have this. Yes, he had his ex-wife as a dear friend but that was it. And even Joanna had a new boyfriend now. He remembered a time when they were each other’s only love. They have known each other since they were kids and grew up together, finding in the other their soul mate. That was in past now. He felt depressed more often than ever before and that was scaring him. He could be calm at times, sometimes grumpy but never this depressed. The drinking had stopped with the birth of his beloved daughter, the partying followed suit. The only joy he felt these days was either the concerts or the moments he spent with his little child. Also, he felt ignored. Sure, he had his friends and family but they didn’t notice anything strange in his behaviour these past few months. He only saw their smiles and their laughter but never were those expressions directed at or shared with him. Today was another one of those days. Chris, Jonny and Will were out with their families, enjoying the beginning of the summer, while he was wandering the city alone, his thoughts providing him some sort of company since his daughter wasn’t arriving until the next day with her mother. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The tour was going better than ever and the band was in a great shape in every sense. They were giving everything they had to the crowds that so genuinely loved them. He just wondered how much longer he would be able to handle everything. He didn’t sleep, he didn’t eat as much anymore, he just didn’t have the energy or the will to do anything. But he knew he had to fight through this, even if he was alone during the process, even if the only thing keeping him afloat at this point was Nico. Blahh, I'm not happy with it......

^Yeah, I loved this Guy/Arlene story too. It's funny because when I heard that Guy has a girlfriend (due to Chris's comment some days ago), I instantly thought of her because they have been seen together quite a lot in my opinion. Oh my... That's tough to choose but for me, I just can't resist Fix You. I remember vividly the first time I heard it and it became a personal favorite that meant so much to me. Also, the story behind it (Chris writing it for Gwyneth) just makes it even more special.
