I don’t know if you guys have heard about a site called Guvera? I just thought I’d share since if offers people free downloads, but the artist still gets paid. There’s a bunch of Coldplaysongs on there too. They’re having a sweepstakes promo right now (http://bit.ly/cqNpvs) called Rock Your Room. There’s a bunch of awesome stuff being given away like an iPad, Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, a Dirty Heads designed skatedeck… so I figured that I would enter it anyway. Lol!!

Any Owl City fans? I’m a huge Owl City fan so I was stoked when I found out Adam Young was releasing some new/old material, an album called “An Airplane Carried Me to Bed.” It’s a collection of songs he recorded a few years ago but never released. Back then he went by the name of “Sky Sailing.” I think it should be interesting. I really liked Owl City’s album, “Ocean Eyes,” so I’m really looking forward to this album. Has anyone downloaded the Six-String app? It’s free on iTunes: http://bit.ly/bLJxVA I just downloaded it for my iTouch and it’s pretty cool. Kinda addicting. Wish they had some more songs on it though. Maybe some Coldplay haha. Anyway, what do you guys think?

My friend just introduced me to this band last week and I have to admit, they are pretty AMAZING! I went on iTunes to purchase one of their previous albums today becauseand omg, it is soo good! Fyfe Dangerfield (of the Guillemots) just re-released his solo album yesterday called "Fly Yellow Moon". Usually I don't like lead singers' solo projects nearly as much as the material they do with their band, but it sounds really good to me. http://www.myspace.com/fyfedangerfield

ya and i heard he is even going to play an entire set at a London music festival using the apps on his phone...haha this guy is pushing the limits! people are really using technology to their advantage these days. actually on that new site http://www.whoisgarygo.com, it lets you post gary go's glasses onto pics of your face. Pretty obvious this guy is technologically saavy and is taking music to new places.

Has anyone else been hearing about the singer Gary Go lately? I’ve been reading about how he wrote a bunch of tracks on his new album using only iPhone apps. Technology is getting so crazy nowadays.
