Watching it for the first time, I was horrified at the amount of sexually suggestive content that was in the CB video. I still am, not forgetting the impression it had on me that it was trying very hard to fit into the pop formula (ie. strobe lighting, dancing in the club and putting "your hands in the air!") and it totally lacked creative vibe as compared to the previous Coldplay videos. It ruined Charlie Brown for me. :(

I didn't mind Major Minus much, but I definitely am looking forward to more of their old school stripped down acoustics and vocals. If we're speaking about trying to sound more Coldplay than just Chris Martin, perhaps we can hear more of Will, Jonny and Guy singing? I haven't exactly heard the latter two's voices distinctly, and I simply adore Will's tone.

I love the lyrics on this one! "We won't see the earth again..." There's a sense of something magical that I can't quite put my finger on. The countdown idea was pretty original. "Seven, six, five, four, three" and I love the fact that you can hear Will's distinct voice in this one (which I think is a bit underrated; he should sing more!). I'd swap PoC for this on the new album!

Well put. I didn't like the synths and there were too many lalalalas, as if Chris ran out of ideas for words. Overall I felt there was a lack of effort which was very un-Coldplay, IMO. :\
