Moving To Mars

..where would you place it on the tracklist? I've heard some people say at the end, but is there any other place you think it would fit in?

Honestly, I'm very upset that this song is the only one without a symbol. :cry: But... there is that steam thingy when they released the song under the title. Is that it? Actually another question pops in my head... are any other songs they release as b-sides gonna have symbols? Hmm.... I just want the symbol like the other ones :P

Out of all of the songs released from the LP5/Mylo Xyloto era, this one has been the worst so far. Definitely doesn't fit on the album.

The Mylo Xyloto Era (Like all Era's) had many great songs! but one that stood out to me personally was Moving to Mars it had this wonderful weird/dark feel. Anyways this is part of the song "Eight to nine, nine to ten we are meeting for the first time we might never meet again you and me, we are meeting for the first time cant you see seven six five four three" what do you think the numbers "89910-76543" mean? do they even have a meaning! or were they just there because they fit the song but why use numbers?! One of coldplays rules is to be mysterious so i wonder are they telling us something xD? i honestly have no clue! id like to know what you guys think!

The reviews for "Moving To Mars" have been overwhelmingly great. It's personally my favorite song of the new ones and already one of my all time favorite. I think it's a wonder, a masterpiece. But I'm worried since it's just part of a 3 songs EP, they might not give it the promotion that it deserves. We are on a mission fellow Coldplayers. The world need to be hear about this wonder, it's a duty. So reply "YES" if you want to sign this online petition for a video. We all know that the boys and their spies read this forum. They won't have any other choice than to give us what we want.

This is according to a guy named Luke Pritchard, lead singer and guitarist for The Kooks. He was blogging for the Huffington post and this is what he wrote: I'm really not a fan of the new Coldplay stuff, but this is genius. One of his best songs ever, in my opinion. Has anyone been able to decipher the words repeated by a voice at the end of the song. I think you can only really notice it with headphones. But it sounds like, "two hundred bubbles two hundred bubbles two hundred bubbles" to me :lol: Update: could also be "tear and pebbles" "human rebels" and so on.......

The distorted noises at the end really say "merge into beginning of first track ala Pink Floyd's The Wall", at least to me. They did something similar with the synths at the beginning of LiT and the end of The Escapist on VLVODAAHF. Odds are it'll remain an EP release, but I think it would work pretty well on the album. Thoughts?

This is not a thread to debate if MTM will remain a b-side only or be included on LP5... there is already a thread for that. Im only asking that if Moving To Mars DOES only stay a b-side then where do you rank it among your favorite b-sides? For me it would be right up there in my top 5 with Things I Don't Understand, One I Love, I Ran Away and Help is Round the Corner.
