dear coldplay fans i am posting this thread to see how many of you would like coldplay and there record comany E.M.I./Parlaphone records to release the guitar version of there single violet hill because i think in my opinion the piano version does not sound like a hardcore rock song which the band wanted to sound like because when they play it on T.V. and and there concert/show/gigs it sound a lot better then the recorded album version and if the band see this and the record company does about how many of you agree with me they are bound to release it because the guitar one which chris martin plays live and on T.V. sound a lot better and bloody awesome because when i watch it on telly and see concert clips on youtube and then put my ipod in it does not sound good like it does on telly and on there concerts so please help me out. P.S. they should have put it on there free live album left right left right left with life in technicolor attached at the begging of the album.

I will not bring my hopes up about this news about a live Viva La Vida world tour dvd flimed in barcelona untill i here about it on coldplay.com because i am sick of the media reporting that they are filming a live dvd when coldplay dont even confirm the press rumour because that drives me insane because they dont even confirm it on there site we have to ask if the press is right or not they dont even make a announcement on there website to say it's true or not because i really want them to release the live dvd please coldplay and emi/parlaphone records and done and dusted please release it even if i have to buy coldplays whole intier recordings again so they can have a bit of money so they can have the funding to do it if thats how it work in the music industry. P.S. i advise you all to do the same if it does indeed work that way.

please does any one have the video footage of there performance of there title track Viva la Vida which they played at the 2009 brits awards because there was one that was posted on the forum but that one does not work at all it was in quick time and mp4 type so please does anyone have a copy that actually work perfectly well. thanks guys.

well guys my cousin who lives in London has met him at the 18th of September concert at wembley stadium because his mate's dad worked with coldplay on there us leg of the 2009 viva tour so his mate got backstage passers and Simon pegg started to talk to my cousin because he said to him that he liked hes tattoos and the t-shirt he was wearing and my cousin also met gwyneth paltrow and orlando bloom and jay-z and from coldplay he met jonny buckland will champion and also guy berryman but not chris martin though and i think he mentioned that he met stella mcCartney a tv presenter in the U.K. for people who don't live there and stella is the daughter of The Beatles star Sir Paul McCartney and he said that simon pegg was really down to earth and a very nice bloke and he met all the guys in the band called White Lies and girls aloud.

well at the end of the day i don't really matter who is bigger or better band but my honest opinion is i really do think it's a tossup between U2 and Coldplay but howyousawtheworld is right in a way because all of those bands have sold more albums then both coldplay and radiohead put together and please don't get me wrong i am and i all ways will be a huge devoted fan of coldplay but i am a very honest person and i do think coldplay is incredible madly insane band i think they are the best thing that has ever happened to the music inderstry.

well i do agree with WV Gal because radiohead and coldplay and also muse and U2 would be probably the four biggest rock / alternative acts today and they do attracted different audiences.
