your moar makes me feel invited to clutter this place up now. what makes things a bit boring is that steve has the same expression and haircut in about 97% of his pics in google.- Rate the latest movie you've seen
^ Hey hi Ella! The White Ribbon 9/10 Has anyone of you guys seen this movie? I'd like to get anyone's thoughts about it. Got a major discussion with a brother in law, who thinks that the director's idea of showing how the Nazi-Regime could settle in all it's unheard of craziness via depicting pre-war Germany and it's way of raising children, well he said it was utter bullshit. Personally I think it's a very good attempt at explaining the said, since people of Germany ARE strange when it comes to deal with matters of soul, genuine love and not giving in into group pressure and group-lies/ -hypocrisy. It's gotten much better though, but I'd love to know how you kids see your own countries' history of raising children, dealing with the above mentioned issues. I suppose that upperclass England has a similar 'cold' way of raising children to become tough, badass monsters. That's what I experienced being an AuPair in an upperclass family in Belgravia, who acted very cold and rather childishly superior and all over ridiculously pathetic in order to prepare their two sons for the character-'enhancing' bullying of Eton or Winchester College, which they regarded as similarly appropriate. (It was in 1992) Forgive my inconsistent English, this site is my only way of practising it atm, which is why I come back all the time. But I need to have some actual talking to move on with it. So please do come and discuss. It'd be appreciated a lot. And do me a favour and try to avoid too silly memes, I'm a bit tired of it. :) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUj9gDtA9HQ]YouTube- The White Ribbon - Official Trailer [HQ][/ame] I'm out for today, but will come back reading any responses the next couple of days. ^^ :nice:- If you could be any Animal...
A big fat happy Orang-Utan up in the trees. Scratching my whatever, cruising around a bit, getting me felt picked for fleas, munching on some fruit, and very probably experiencing multiple orgasms now and then.- Living in a foreign country
I've lived in New York City and London and a tiny village in India and you should definitely try to spend some time abroad. Why? Oooh, for the obvious reasons, see the world, learn a language, get irritated by another culture, get even more irritated when going home again. Meet interesting people; be depressed to death on Manhattan's east 96th Street (one of the world's best streets to be incredibly depressed!); step, erm almost drown in(to) holy cowshit in the monsoony Himalayas, yell at stupid indian men and curse their crazy karma; eat snakes and yessss: doggy in Huangzhou/ Canton. Despise the tattooed traveller idiots from around the world; try to learn body surfing in the Pacific in Mexico, drink a beer with an old chinese fart on Hawaii while contemplating life; let exquisitely tiny meatballs flip around in a restaurant because you don't know how to eat noodle soup with chop sticks in Tokio. Smoke a spliff on (at/by/in/around/beneath/under??? ) the heather in Hampshire and then try to chat with the locals in a pub there with your school english, visit your older sister's schoolfriend in Rotherhithe-London and be absolutely knocked out by the fact that the chap that spoke on her boyfriend's answer machine was once a member of the Sex Pistols or the Clash (I forgot which). You know, stuff like that.- ~the 'official' sexy fit men thread~
