  1. I got my ticket yesterday :) Did anyone get the ticket delivered? Mine came with a Coke Zero can :stunned: Am I supposed to keep it and drink it at the show or can I have it before? Maybe that's the only beverage allowed? :P
  2. If you live in Brazil you shouldn't need a passport... Mercosur identity card should suffice.
  3. If you consider that the american dollar was around 3,05 back in 2007 and today it is around 3,85, it is a 25% increase. Raise the AR$ 440 that 25% and you get AR$ 550. Not that huge difference with the actual AR$ 605 they are charging.
  4. Well, I consider myself a fan and this time I can afford it. And people who gets tickets from companies usually get seated ones, what we call plateas, and not field.
  5. Confirmado precio de campo VIP: AR$ 680 incluido comisión de Ticketek That's approx. $180 (american dollars) OK I just bought my ticket for the VIP field :D (standing) AR$700 including service = USD 185 They will start delivering them on October 28th.
  7. The prices are not out yet but I guesstimate around 150 american dollars the most expensive. That is what I paid in 2007 for Roger Waters in River and that's about what the Coldplay show in a theater was that same year (sadly I couldn't afford to go). AC/DC is playing in Buenos Aires this December, also in River Plate Stadium, and the prices vary between AR$440 to AR$115 (charges for the service included). Roughly translated to USD it's 115 to 30.
  8. Ha! They are going to bribe the guy or beat him to a pulp (I'd go for the second option :laugh3: )
  9. Someone will bribe the idiot in the government who decided this move after years of shows. AC/DC is playing there in December and there are a couple festivals too. Don't you think it is much of a coincidence that this closing appears just the day after Coldplay announced the tour? The guy smelled easy cash...
  11. I called Ticketek yesterday and they had no idea there was a Coldplay show :P I will keep on checking and will post as soon as there's news :)
  12. Not only because of that, but River has like 8,000 more seats/capacity than Boca - not counting the field. Lore, I am in love with your signature! (that italian clip is to die for lol)
  13. I am determined to spend the night there if I have to, just to get front row :D
  14. I went to the VIP in the Roger Waters tour... dunno about Coldplay though. TheAngie back there (or maybe in another thread) said that in all stadiums there was GA (that I suppose stands for general admission); guess no privileged seats.
  15. I will be the crazy old cow waving frantically in front row :laugh3: The day after the Buenos Aires show it's my birthday :D
  16. That's the general sale. Presale is only for Citibank clients and starts October 15th. If the credit card was mine I would buy you one, Lore... but it belongs to my husband and I will be lucky enough to get a ticket for myself :(
  17. Oh and I know how River looks like... been there several times, last one was for Roger Waters Dark Side of the Moon tour, March 2007. But the map you posted is a common football (soccer) one. I would like to find the one with the different sectors and prices of the tickets but I guess it won't be available until the pre-sale is on.
  18. Angie, that $1000 ticket is not only for the River-Boca... It includes matches to be played at the River Plate stadium when River plays against Independiente, Lanús and Atlético de Tucumán. 1000 AR$ is too bloody much even for a River Boca :laugh3: Next River-Boca is this Oct 25th.
  19. In plain english, please? Sorry Angie I don't get it :( I am over the mooooooon!! I couldn't attend the first time they came here to Buenos Aires (2007) so now I won't miss it! Now someone please tell me Muse will come again and I am done - for life :D
  20. FINALLY!! Glad hubby has a Citi card so I can get the ticket in the pre-sale! And it is ok they chose River, it is the biggest stadium. I wonder why just one date though. Is there any chance to get hold of the map to see the location of the tickets? I mean before they start selling them.
  21. And I just saw this thread had 42 replies :D
