[24-Jul-2012] Coldplay @ Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Canada
think i may go down extra early, just to let the excitement and closeness of the venue psych me up even more. Thank god my head is shaved, I can use solar power to aid in increasing my psyched ness  To everyone going down tonight, 4 hours 28 minutes until doors open :D Gonna bounce all the way down on the bus

quick question: I know from previous concerts wearing t-shirts of the band that was playing was considered a faux pas. Still not sure why, but if I had an old t-shirt from when they came in 2009 ( not official, fan made so not the best quality) that would be ok to wear, right? Sure, it has shrunk( or my belly has grown :P ) but i love it, even as faded as it has become. What do people think? Is it somehow wrong to wear a shirt of the band you are going to see?

Good to hear its intimate, and just found out my sister is coming tonight, it's her first coldplay show :D I hope she gets upgraded, would make for an awesome first time, and it seems she is in 318 too :D Dear god I am bouncing around like a child filled with sugar, this is so awesome :D

for anyone that was there last night and is going tonight, any idea how the side and rear views are for seeing the concert? Not that I mind, I could not afford the higher end tickets when they were released, and cannot afford to upgrade now as money is tight. Just being there, ( and if they play DLIBYH, well, I may scream so loud the stadium hears me :D ) that,s enough for me, and reading of how some got upgrades yesterday, well, I can hope. Shame artistically I am more of a wordsmith than a painter or crafter, else I would try to make a homemade t-shirt to wear. Also, the last time they came to the ACC, did they celebrate Will's Birthday? I swore they always played Toronto on his birthday. Or am I getting confused with someone else? Anyways, I am trying to convince my sister to come tonight, she has never seen them live and she really should. Hopefully she can find some nice tickets, enjoy the majesty and spectacle that is a Coldplay concert :D

Florence + The Machine
I am new to listening to Florence and the Machines, but after the SNL songs that actually made me stand up and just listen, I have been listening to Lungs and Ceremonial pretty much non-stop, and I have to say, No Light, No Light, Shake it Out and Heartlines are turning into my must lsitens, just amazing how she sounds, how the music sounds, how it washes over me like a tide.

Rate DON'T LET IT BREAK YOUR HEART poll!
50/10, every time I hear this song I giggle, it is so dang awesome it makes me smile. :D Far and away, my favourite song on the album, and one of my favourite all time. Just such an incredible song.

Am I the only person totally in love with DLIBYH?
With AHT as an intro to this song, it just is amazing. Really turning into my favourite song along with U.F.O.

Rate U.F.O. poll!
When I first heard it I was amazed. 10/10, along with AHT and DLIBYH. I seriously want to hear a live version of it, just to compare.

[21-Sept-2011] Coldplay @ Much Music, Toronto
Ok, so I was not hallucinating when I thought I heard them play VH at the soundcheck. Not that I am complaining. Still so incredibly buzzed about the concert, and after watching the replay of it on Much at 1 AM, I have to say, it did not do the crowd justice. On Yellow, come on, we were all belting it out and yet, from the TV, it seemed like the crowd was whisper quiet. Now for some (admittedly not that great) photos: Soundcheck: and Concert :D That last photo I really like, not sure why. I have more photos, but they are not that great :(

It was an amazing show! To the wolfpack ( you know who you are ;) ) that was truly awesome, my camera is pretty crappy but I'll try to get some pics up, got a few nice ones. I am so glad the rain let up for the show, it was kinda crazy there for a while. At least now I know, do not wear sandals when there is the chance of major rain showers. And to aunie, thank you so much , that was so nice. I hope you and your sister got to see at least some of the concert. So going to watch the replay at 1 am on Much :D

from that picture, looks like it is not that far from the stage to the barrier that separates the first 2 sections. I'll still go early if for no other reason that I'd prefer to be by the barrier and be closer to the stage then be stuck in the back behind a mass of people.

I think there may be parking at the Theatre behind Muchmusic, although I am not sure how much it would cost. Seems like it is discounted, according to the Scotiabank Theatre website, but I cannot find a price for it.

Ok, but if by some cruel twist of fate I cannot get one ( and I am seriously planning on making tomorrow Coldplay Day :D and get there early to get a better chance at a wristband. ) will we still be able to, if not have a perfect view, at least still be in the general area to watch the concert? Now to figure out how early I should get there, maybe if I get there by 11 A.M. they will have a non-wristband line ( if not maybe I can get them to create one with me at the front :D ) Good lord, I am positively giddy about tomorrow. Even if I cannot get into the area to see them, just to be able to hear them live and not live via youtube or my television, to have that transcendental experience of hearing them live... Fair warning to anyone near me, I will get absolutely crazy. I am apologizing in advance. What can I say, hearing Coldplay live, it is as close to Heaven as I am ever going to get :D Edit: Is there any way to contact Much so I can know if going early without a wristband is going to do anything? I am ready willing and able to go early even if only to get a good view outside the area the concert will be in.
