I lost my keys once. I found them a few hours later with the keyrings stolen off them :dozey: Okay, that's not be burgled but it's the closest I've been to it so far.
  8. But do the teachers take subjects like Health seriously? Here we do SPHE (social, personal, hygiene education ) until you are 15/16 but it's not examined. So the teacher showed us some videos from the 90's about safety, anorexia and bullying....and I can't remember much else from 3 years of those classes. Oh and CSPE ( civil social political education ) is compulsory for the first 3 years of highschool. But the exam is piss easy and majority of people get an A.
  9. why did she take a picture of her with oranges on her legs? Like I could imagine doing something like that but I wouldn't document it :|
  10. Do you get graded or what in P.E? D:
  11. You "have" to do P.E here for 4 years...but it's not graded or anything so not doing doesn't affect your marks in any way. You probably just get a bad note from the P.E teacher in your report.
  12. I always found it odd how science is not compulsory here actually  It's a lot more useful then being able to speak Irish. I like how fine art is compulsory :wacky:
  13. I was just curious about compulsory exam subjects in other places. Do you have them in your country? and if so which ones? Here you have to do english, maths and irish until you leave high school and a foreign language is highly advised. You also have to do history and geography up until the age of 15/16. And in some schools religion as an exam subject is compulsory until 15/16 too. Oh and did you ever feel like they were holding you back?
  14. ooh I like that :cheesy: THANK YOU! I'M GOING TO DO IT BEFORE MIDNIGHT ( it's 23:52 right now ) :|
  15. I have to write a speech stating my leadership skills, which are non existent, and other skills, also in little supply, to convince people I am good enough to be student council president. DO NOT WANT.
  16. :disappointed: I FEEL SO LEFT OUT IT HURTS.
  17. Guys, you come from lands where people do speeches to become student body presidents, yeah? Could you help me with my homework? :anxious:
  18. Unless my computer is horrifically slow and there is an image...
  19. For a split second I thought you had posted an image which had not loaded yet.
