we have mandatory english classes from kindergarten to highschool. effect: i find it easier to understand most things (essays, books, etc.) in english than our own language. :sick: but then again, teachers say that our language ,by definition, is a mixture of local dialects and ENGLISH. :thinking: i don't really know anymore. it's confusing. :(

^I think earlier one of the BBC reporters kind of laughed when he noticed that he was being shown on a local channel while reporting live on BBC. but he was so impressed with the extent of the images/videos that are being given by the government.
