  1. I apologize if another thread exists regarding this subject. I could not find it. I have heard Paradise used commercially in at least three instances. One instance was on a Nascar commercial, another was fade music on the HLN network, and I can't remember where I heard the other. I was under the impression that Coldplay does not release its music for commercial purposes. Has this policy changed? Can anyone give me information regarding the commercial use of Coldplay's music. Thanks.
  2. My husband and I are relatively new CP fans. We loved Clocks, and a few of their other songs. After the release of VLV, we ran out and bought the rest of their CD's. I love all CP's music. We decided to go see them in Salt Lake City in 11/08. The following summer we saw them three more times, designed a vacation around tour dates. It would have been four more times except the Tampa concert was cancelled. :( We decided to go to Mexico City for both concerts there. I'm really glad we did! It put a period on the end of the tour. Still, I am sad that it's over. But, I am excited to see what's next!
  3. I'm not too sure. I think the stadium holds something like 60,000. There were probably somewhere between 50,000 and 55,000 there. I don't think there were as many on Sun. as on Sat.
  4. I am sorry you didn't get to go :( My husband and I debated for a very long time before we decided to go. We went to both concerts, but Sunday was definitely the capper as we were in General A, not too far from the B-stage. On Sat., we were in the nose-bleed section and only stayed for the first half of the concert. We had a few logistics issues which were ironed out Sun. Anyway, keep the faith! They will be touring again before you know it!
  5. Fabulous Show! As the show in Tampa was cancelled, I felt the tour was unfinished. I think I finally have "closure"!!
  6. We are staying at the Hilton in the airport which is about a mile from the Foro Sol. There is also a Holiday Inn a little closer to Foro Sol, and cheaper than the Hilton, but the area surrounding the hotel did not look great. Good luck!
  7. Thanks to anyone who has offered a ticket to these shows. I am no longer looking for a ticket. My husband and I bit the bullet and went to Ticketmaster in Tijuana to get tickets.
  8. I am looking for two tickets to the shows in Guadalajara and Monterrey, MX. If you have any of these tickets for sale, please PM me. Thanks.
  9. It's certainly not very conducive to attracting concert goers from other countries - maybe that's the idea...
  10. That's what I thought - but it doesn't make sense. can you pick the ticket up more than 48 hours in advance? and within 48 hours, it's cancelled?
  11. Hi all, I do not know enough Spanish to translate the following accurately. Can someone please tell me what it means? Does this mean that you can pick up tickets any time within 48 hours of the concert? Thanks in advance for your help! RECOGER EL WILL CALL 48 HRS ANTES DEL EVENTO O SERA CANCELADO No Habrá Will Call en el inmueble el día del evento Sección de Admision General, de pie sin fila ni silla asignada PRECIO 1 CANCHA 1 (GENERAL DE PIE)
