  1. Reilly, are you sure the thread was deleted because of your post?
  2. Great pictures, I see! :cheesy::cheesy: LOLOL THE NOSE. :laugh3: Oooh! That's great! Congrats! Blur attracts good luck. Lulz.
  3. Sucks to EMI. :botoxlips: :laugh3::laugh3: DAMON A CHINESE? :laugh3: Gosh, Jamie's so adorable. Still has that Jamie look today.
  4. Bump. Goodnight y'all. :botoxlips:
  5. Damon is the kind of man that wouldn't want to answer a driving test the way it's supposed to be answered, all because he disagrees with it. Then again, Damon hasn't exactly been the predictable type of musician. If he really does want a song for the #1 spot then what say do we have? I will feel disappointed though; it will be more about fame than music. I wonder how to use that.
  6. Ah yes, but Radiohead are much better off now without being tied to EMI. Yeah, I would much prefer promotion for Rhinestone Eyes. But in terms of how a song can be perceived easier or achieve fame faster, then Doncamatic is definitely the one, which is why I think EMI prefers it. Is it possible for EMI to have been pressuring Gorillaz to release a radio-friendly song before Doncamatic was released?
  7. You mean they were supposed to release another video for that song? Lulz, seriously, why would EMI do this? If the reason is because Rhinestone Eyes is not radio-friendly, then EMI can go ahead and do some impolite things to themselves, as it would mean they don't love music, but love money instead.
  8. We human beings. :disappointed:
  9. LOL. Perhaps Damon should start checking out the threads related to him over here. I would blame that song too.
  10. Live life to the fullest! :awesome: /trying to be motivating I hope I get better too. I should get studying. :freak:
  11. But the historical information it has in there is much better than my school's text book. LULZ.
  12. Kami Prihatin = We're concerned.
  13. It should be the UK knowledge magazines (the big volume I have), because the price for the magazines are stated in pound. And it's states that it's printed in Great Britain. Good grief, the contents are dated 1961. :laugh3:
  14. I'm okay, having a slight flu. You? :wacky:
  15. Oh, I'm not sure about that. But I know I can find second hand issues here, or the cheaper reissued ones. It's basically a compilation of many Knowledge magazines into one big book/volume. So there are many many topics in there.
  16. The good thing about these magazines is that you get to read it though the issue is outdated. I think I should be able to find cheaper priced copies. History magazine, that would be interesting. I have 2 volumes of Knowledge (magazine, if I'm not mistaken). Its superbly old and it actually belongs to my grandfather's school he taught in. He must have took it from the school and I'm glad he didn't give it back and now I have it! I wonder whether there's more though. Yeah, I should.
  17. I think this should be moved to the Entertainment and Arts section. I must have read National Geographic before. Yes, the photography is good, and the news is good too. Have you tried Discover magazine or Astronomy (if you like astronomy)? I used to read those, but I rarely do so anymore. I need to start reading back these informative magazines.
  18. LOL. Who says saying "That is a bad record" or "This is a good record" is not an opinion? Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, live with it. Not everyone is gonna agree that Coldplay makes good music.
  19. ^ & ^^ Good point. The problem with some listeners to mainstream music is that they don't listen to the band, but just the song. It's still a good way to expose good music to them though. In fact, Damon might have had this idea in mind, for all we know. Edit: Omg, the more I listen to Doncamatic, the more it's starting to sound like Gorillaz. The synth behind, Damon's vocals, the funky slight beats during the chorus, now, if only the main beats were slightly different. :freak: I think I'm actually starting to like it, as mainstream as it sounds. But does anyone think the chorus where the singer goes 'All played out~' sounds a bit like the 'oh my god' part of the OMG song?

    Congratulations! :awesome:
  21. AS HAPPILY EVER AFTER, IT JUST GETS DAFTER. My parents are so not those parents who listens to music, except maybe those music I listen to since it can be heard from outside my room. :anxious: Why so random?
