  1. Bolton are useless like Swansea were at defending corners against Blackburn last week!. I was at that game and just knew Yakabu was going to score everytime he launched the ball towards our goal I was sitting behind. Great win for us today though, Swansea are making the Liberty Stadium a fortress. A great 2-0 win over Fulham. Only seen the Swans twice this season being 4-0 and 4-2 losses against Man City and Blackburn. Both of those games were then followed up with Vorm making penalty saves and he didn't save the one against Blackburn. Still, our away form needs sorting and I have to see them at home to witness a win this season!. I'm staying over with family in Swansea during Christmas, so not going to the home game with QPR would make me a right doughnut not to!. El Classico last night, that was one of the best derbies I've seen. Real scoring from the kick off only for Barca to bang in three!!!. Still laughing at Man United's champs league exit, although I am disappointed Man City did not get through either. Those 10 points would have got them through 6 of the 7 other groups and are a much better team than Basel.
  2. Good game there in the Brazillian League!. How are Vasco Da Gama performing these days?.
  3. Yeah, ever since the 3rd placed teams in the 1st group stage of the champions league drop into the Europa, while those who go out of the knockout stages get nada, it's been a plastic black and white mickey mouse trophy ever since when a former Chanpions League team from the same season wins it.
  4. Taken a few days ago picture removed
  5. Europa League is sh*t, just get rid of it and put all the winners of the top 32 Euro leagues into the Champions League. To rank all top division European teams for the co-efficient, use the ISSHF ranking methology, but still keep the past five season ranking points scored average. Swansea won't take the plastic Mickey Mouse European competition seriously (they can qualify if they win the fair play league), they'll see it as a distraction to the league, just like they used to see the Welsh Cup as a distraction when they played in the Football League. League Cup can be seen as a black and white trophy, but winning it makes a lot of money for the team.
  6. Are Cr*pdiff by any chance sponsored by the Malaysia tourist board, or are they just having the country printed on their shirts just to advertise it because of their owners?. Being a supporter of the mighty, mighty Swans I couldn't care less really, it's just something that's made me wonder.
  7. So, so sad RIP Gary, football will never be the same without you.
  8. For me it has to be this one from season 2 of "One Foot in the Grave". [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1e-Ct0cWqzw]One Foot in the Grave- Computer Salesman (Season 3, 1992) - YouTube[/ame]
  9. Man City I think are a growing and growing club and the field and off it!. There's more bitter people than ever with a team when they get success. It's like a band finally breaking into the mainstream, the publications who liked them before, start to scorn on them. Anyways, my heart was racing like mad today watching that Liverpool - Swansea game on a stream and wearing my away shirt with tons of strong drinks next to me!. I was at the end shouting "Come on Vorm!, catch it!", only to rightfully roll it out afters to a nearby player and then the team played keepball, which ran down the clock and won us our point!!. It's games like these that make your debut season in the Prem a memorable one. When I was at the City of Manchester Stadium, I was just enjoying the occasion knowing we wouldn't win, but today we have grown. My two cents worth on the game........... Brilliant defending, excellent man marking and the attacking was really on the ball, not to mention the counter attacks we did about twice or three times. The only problem was we didn't score from either of them, but it's the huge occasion that can get to you during these goalscoring opportunites, what with feeling the heat to score when you have that keeper and the goal in front of you. Reina made some very good saves anyway, not many goalies in the Prem would have saved those, especially that one when he spotted Danny Graham's run and came out to block the resulting shot when the ball was making it's way through to him. Every free kick my heart pounded, and every shot too not forgetting my relief when Massey raised her offisde flag against Kyut!. She got that spot on. When that final whistle went, I was grinning from ear to ear. Once again, proud to be a Jack by following on a proud family tradition of Swans fans!.
  10. Sometimes its helpful sometimes its not very helpful, as at times I can't be asked to wade though pages and pages of stuff to find what I need.
  11. Liechtenstein?!, love to go there but the idea of getting a bus from Zurich airport I find a little difficult to do, cos it'll mean having to google timetables etc.
  12. Hachijo Jima
  13. Me about 2 mins ago.....
  14. I only was thinking the other day about football literature and that I need to read more, think I'll just might check that book out!.
  15. Swansea 3-1 Bolton!!!!. Feel sick for not going to the game just cos of the money I spent on driving lessons so far, but I was watching the game live and will be getting mightily pissed out of my head tonight!!!. Great win for Man City again, really liked the City of Manchester Stadium when I went there in August, away end facilities are one of the best I've seen.
  16. "Six and the City", the hot new blockbuster filmed in Manchester!!!.
  17. While watching the game updates on the BBC site, I kept saying to myself "It's not over until the final whistle", I wasn't totally 100 percent suprised, I had a feeling especially when it said Wolves fans were storming out of the ground, cos when that happens, the game usually turns around. When it was 2-1, I was hoping they'd hold on, but it didn't happen.
  18. I really am hoping to get into it someday, this for me so far is only their second album I did not love or like on first listen, the other one is "X&Y". Coldplay have always relied on critics worshipping them and people buying their records to keep going, as when the critics turn against them, then the public might follow them like sheep. I sincerely hope that this is not the beginning of the end.
  19. Southampton might even slip up I think, they've been a little rusty in their last few games and were lucky to escape with a point against Reading. Am gutted what really is 2 points lost after Swansea were 2-0 up against Wolves, only to draw 2-2 with 5 mins left, still seeing Man United get tanked 6-1 against Man City was just simply the dogs bollcokx.
  20. Feedback welcome please :), this is my first xTraNormal movie-making attempt!. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0VpekliD-0]Jessica's visit to the doctors - YouTube[/ame]
  21. Swansea 2-0 Stoke!!!!. GO THE SWANS!!!!!!.
  22. Anyways, while we are on the subject, why do they have crap teams like Romania in it anyway?, the sooner we get rid of these crap teams the better. You would never see this at the football world cup, there's only one crap team every four years in that. England keep winning with last minute tries or kicks, talk about outstaying your welcome. They will be mauled over by the All Blacks when they meet them. Respect to the Tongans for their win, 4 years ago they were so unlucky against the Springboks and met the red rose at the wrong time, just as soon as Wankinson returned from injury. I only support England when it comes to Cricket. Football and Rugby can get stuffed as far as "Green and pleasant land" is concerned, having said that, I always support English football clubs in Europe bar Man United.
  23. England have been really crap this whole tournament. Their only convincing win was against the Romanians, but that team are crap anyway and struggled to qualify. Come on France and beat those red rose pricks!.
  24. Correction Football:- Marseille- 1992-1993 UEFA Champions League Paris St Germain- IFFHS World Team of the Year 1994/UEFA co-efficient #1 1998 National team won the 1998 World Cup and 1982 plus 2000 European Championships. Rugby:- Won 5 Nations 12 times (8 shared) Also won the six nations 5 times with the most Grand Slams during this era and 9 in the history of the whole tournament when it became a 5 nations in 1910. England have 12, but it should be noted France did not join until thirty years after it started as a 4 Nations. Although your wording is "They haven't won nothing", you are right cos they have something, but your wording is no way what you actually meant.
  25. In all honesty I was glad when you got the grand slam last time round, cos it kept those big headed England players quiet. Their best player just kicks goals while France's best players score tries and it's more of a team effort. Heck, even England's winning score at the 2003 final was a drop goal. Looking forward to seeing Les Bleus beat Tonga!, will be setting the alarm for an early morning!.
