  1. I'm not bothered about likes, it was this joker that started the like thing. I respect all music and agree with you completely :) it's just some people have to make it into a Facebook battle. I don't really want an argument :'(
  2. I know we are but I was just wondering why the USA seems to really like us and respect us :P :)
  3. Thanks for all the replies :) I see what you mean! I wish I lived in the USA so much :P and what's wrong with fish and chips ;) ha ha
  4. New page with no promotion yet!! oh and you my ginger friend have 184 likes on your page, not an amazing amount either..... :/ especially since you claim to be a "super group" :O and are signed to a label :O which I have never heard of and probably is for random child acts :L I have played with some of Britain's best indie band guitarists and you?
  5. Hi there! as a young (16) British person I would really like to know why you Americans out there really love us?!! Any american people I meet (there are many in my town because there is an american air base near by) seem to be so interested in us, our culture and whatever :L it makes no sense to me!! WE ARE SO BORING infact the only good thing to come out of here, apart from me ;) is COLDPLAY! so I just want know why do you like us so much?! :laugh3:
  6. As I said I do take what people say and use it to good power :) so thanks for the feedback! You may be right about the sound to be honest I should have tried various playback systems to make sure that the highs were not too sharp, could just be the second layer of synth I don't know  although I should. Yet again I did mention that I don't work on that style of music much being a hardcore coldplay fan but perhaps I should stay away from it :P I'm sorry I mumble on I'm very British
  7. Hmmmmmmm you may be right, I don't usually work on this type of music being a fan of a whole different genre. Being in a fairly successful local band I do take criticism given and try to learn from it, so that's what I will do from this :) BTW it's hard to produce synth when your a bass player ;) but thank you for the feedback
  8. So I remixed this song, even tho it's not coldplay :( :) I play all keyboards since I could't find the samples :P It has been mixed and mastered so enjoy and please don't stop yourself from a download. I'm a young (16) English musician and I do lots studio work so if there is anything you would like mixing of mastering please don't be afraid to ask .
  9. Kasabian are my second favourite band to coldplay :)
  10. what do you mean?, just the tack piano? I could record it if you want :)
  11. :) looks like chris and jon don't need to play the keyboards any more ;)
  12. Yes :) I can sort you out with any coldplay instrument samples if you want them :)
  13. Ha ha well since 2008 I have been trying to reproduce the sound, but it has been hard getting it right :\ . to put it in the most simple way I can, I mixed some asian type instruments (which have lots of "bite") with a piano, all the sounds are sampled and are professional. The tack piano is used in these songs.... 1. Lovers in Japan 2.Viva la vida 3.Charlie Brown 4.Princess of china :D Believe me its in every one of them songs I'm a geek when it comes to knowing the instruments used :wink3:
  14. Ha ha hey there again ;) yeah I heard that from the start :) it gives it more power :shocked2:

  16. Hi guys I have been trying to make a tack piano sample for lovers in japan/vlv take a look at the youtube link of me showing it :) give me feedback on the sound of it  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXSvjBJ7NjM&feature=youtu.be
  17. People like you that moan piss me off, I know how it works! (yes I KNOW) for example viva la vida- The keyboards are midi controllers which for viva in question make the sound of a tack piano, yes just like lovers in japan! They all have in ear monitors which out put a click track counting them into the song and keeping them in line with backing, viva has string backing which Jon plays the same riff over it but with a tack piano sound. The keyboard does not activate the playback, Miller (R42) presses play on the playback unit (only for viva, Will presses it on other songs) as for the bell! it is a real bell but the sound is from a trigger, the bell has a sensor taped to it which triggers a virtual bell sound (virtual because the only sound to replicate the studio version is sampled) so the bell is like a keyboard really - Coldplay play most of what you hear but things like strings are playback and guess what many many many bands use it. SO shut up -_- I have had enough with people that don't understand say they mime. any questions about any songs please ask and I will say how they are played live
  18. Well I tried ha ha, I love this song so much I needed to make a bass cover ( please keep in your mind that I only learnt it a couple of days before) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WUQ0KuM73w&feature=youtu.be
