  1. GO LISTEN. :whip: (and vote for Funeral afterwards )
  2. Fuuuuuuuuneral. I skip more tracks on Neon Bible than on Funeral. Plus, I like the overall sound better on Funeral. And the songs are better. And I just love it. And stuff. :wacky: Edit: comparing last.fm plays: Funeral: 568 Neon Bible: 354
  3. Sigur Rós - Takk... Radiohead - I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings
  4. Meh. I honestly don't see what's so great about them. But then again, I grew up listening to South American folk(/protest) music, The Cure, R.E.M. and Nirvana, among others. :D
  5. 1. Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison (1968, live) 2. Johnny Cash - At San Quentin (1969, live) 3. Victor Jara - Pongo En Tus Manos Abiertas (1969) 4. Johnny Cash - I Walk The Line (1964) 5. The Doors - The Doors (1967) 6. Nick Drake - Five Leaves Left (1969) 7. The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds (1966) 8. The Doors - Strange Days (1967) 9. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced 10. Johnny Cash - Everybody Loves A Nut (1966) 11. Johnny Cash - Orange Blossom Special (1965) 12. The Kinks - Kinks (1964) 13. The Doors - Waiting For The Sun (1968) 14. Neil Young - Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere (1969) 19. The Turtles - Happy Together (1967) 20. The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967) Honourable mention: Los Saicos - ¡Demolición! (1965)
  6. That sounds great though. Especially excited about the new album being different from In Rainbows. I honestly don't care all that much for the actual release date. I'd rather wait longer for a better album. But 2011 sounds good to me. :nice: Still, more (or any, for that matter) communication would be great. :whip:
  7. I am a sceptic. :D
  8. I checked with the Arcade Fire oracle (or more commonly known as the ArcadeFireTube guy) and he says that the house/car one is the confirmed album cover. The reason I was doubting this is because the house/car one doesn't mention the title of the album and you almost need a magnifier glass to properly see who the artist is. I wonder if they'll keep it that way.. :nice:
  9. We need news.
  10. That one doesn't mention the title and the new one looks more album cover-y.
  11. Album cover?
  12. Tracklisting  1 Suburbs 2 Ready To Start 3 Modern Man 4 Rococo 5 Empty Room 6 City With No Children 7 Half Light I 8 Half Light II (No Celebration) 9 Suburban War 10 Month Of May 11 Wasted Hours 12 Deep Blue 13 We Used To Wait 14 Sprawl I (Flatland) 15 Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) 16 The Suburbs (Continued) http://store.universal-music.co.uk/euro/CD/Arcade-Fire-The-Suburbs-CD-Album-2010/invt/0602527426297 16 songs on one disc. :dead: And more artwork (I think ):
  13. Ah, I see. Those damn spoiler tags. :whip: Good work! :nice:
  14. So did Funeral get the highest average rank?
  15. Seriously? :freak: AROBTTH better be first place.
  16. For the record: I love that album to death. I just hoped/kind of expected it would end up higher. Getting upset about something like this is rather silly if you ask me. :nice:
  17. I think I might have a problem with the order of the remaining albums.
  18. Takk and Ágætis are more accessible though. As far as Sigur is accessible. :cheesy:
  19. Same, same. Not too keen on 8-11 but the rest is just SO GOOD. :awesome:
