1. So turns out my photos look great on my phone but not as great on a computer  Typical. Anyway here they are: ETA: Cheeetaz, glad you got back in one piece! I didn't get back until 4am. Worst train journey ever.
2. Such an amazing show! I cannot believe they played Til Kingdom Come... :dazzled:That's got to be the surprise of the evening. They were so much better than the NME Tour. Man I loved it. Though I'm exhausted now and a sleep on the train home is beckoning. I'll share my photos as soon as I can
3. Can't believe we're barrier! So insane. Will snap as much as possible between flailing. Can't believe barrier at NME and BRITS in a week. I'm going to die
4. TUBE TIME. See you really really soon at our meeting spot!!
5. Seeing all this makes me super excited!! I'm at Clapham Junction-- shan't be long now! Definitely more excited for this than the NME Awards last week...
6. Well I'm officially on a train fro Southampton up. I should be at The O2 for about 6:30-45 to meet people at Slug and Lettuce. I'm wearing a bright red 'Stark Industries' Bomber Jacket to spot me :) See people soon!
7. Also been confirmed by the O2 that everything else is open. So I'll see people in the Slug and Lettuce from 6pmish onwards.
8. Hey, I found a hostel bed for tonight for a tenner at Russell Square Smart Hostel. Might be worth you booking in too!
9. I'd recommend booking in advance if you can. I imagine the waiting times at the venue after kick out will be extremely long-- especially as the Mastercard after party is due to finish around the same time!
10. I'm good for meeting at The Slug and Lettuce. I'm just double checking with The O2 as to whether we can access the rest of the venue-- but as the cinema is still open it seems likely that the remaining bars/eateries will be open for public access... Normally are but then I've never been to an Awards show here before. For reference I look like this: https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/672691127506571264/O0aCb_ou.jpg except y'know minus the green/blue.
11. Yep, I'll be around. I'll pop in to see where everyone is and come and find people. I used to say look for the green and blue hair, but I'm having that all cut off in an hour so...!
12. IndigO2 Twitter just responded to me: @nattatouillez Hi Natt, you can queue after 8 outside of the venue! Have fun So there we go. I'll definitely head up and prowl the area from 6-7ish and hopefully get a nice spot in the queue :D
13. Last time I queued for entry at one of their shows (think it was Snow Patrol) and was told there was no queuing before a certain time they had barriers across and a lot of security who escorted you from the area every time... Afraid not. I'm going back to city centre (hostel is at Russell Square because of the nightbus)
14. I'm planning on getting up there for about 6pm as well. So if you need some company at the bar (I'm flying solo for the eve, hurrah, and therefore need to make more Coldplaying friends :p)
15. Yeah that's my thoughts. I would really like to be on barrier but I reckon it's going to be a pain by the looks of it... I'm so confused what is going on. Thankfully I've found myself a hostel for the night as they say that the show is curfewed for 1:30am.
16. Hey guys, I was going to go up early to queue too-- but I was told there is strictly no entry/pre-queuing for the show at Indigo until 8pm via their Twitter team (due to The Brits traffic/people/crowds)...
17. Doesn't seem like there were a lot of Level 2 seats in the presale to be fair... They are the smallest blocks as well if I remember rightly from my previous encounters of Wembley. Ticketmaster/Amazon refused to comment on how many tickets went to presale. Hm, you can go Unreserved Seating and take the risk. You'd have to arrive at a fairly decent time to get a good seat (like gates time). But it depends on the weather because if there's the threat of rain more people tend to head for the seats as they offer a bit of protection. The Level 1 seats are really no different to the Level 2-- the Level 5 are a bit more steep/severe-- if you go for a middle row you get a fairly good view over the top of the heads of the standing people and it's all tiered so unless a giant sits/stands in front of you, you'll be fine for a view. Hope this helps some :)
18. Well, I had no luck with presale :( I wanted decent Tier 2 seats and the only ones it offered me were in block 213/14/15 right at the back which if I'm going to pay £104 for, I kinda wanna be closer. Also it's a birthday treat for my Mum and I so I want us to have fairly decent seats. However have to say if you were quick off the mark at 9:30 it was pretty efficient. I had my first pair by 9:31. But I'm fussy and I'd rather be thrown in to the chaos again tomorrow I guess :P
19. Oh yeah, doing it first come, first served in a way like that would be awesome but then it really limits fans to people that live in London so it's no fairer
20. It'd be nice if Coldplay did something akin to Muse when it came to ticketsales (like .mu website members have a unique code which gives them access to a fan only presale) it works pretty well... It's definitely how I got to see Muse at Exeter Grand Hall earlier this year. I do think Coldplay will be doing the arena/stadium circuit in the next 12 months or so though. These intimate shows are wonderful but their audience base is so large that doing them means so many people miss out. I think AHFOD will lend itself better to stadiums than Ghost Stories did-- that was a quiet, melancholic and personal album and so that's probably why they took the RAH angle and such.
21. Yeah, I take it payments ended up not being processed for the tickets that are reappearing? I just got some but again it wouldn't let me checkout with them. This basket taunting is awful. It's like the Exeter gig all over again for me :bigcry:
22. Oh I definitely think there will be competitions during the week before to win pairs of tickets. It would be so unlike Radio 1 not to!
23. That seemed insane. I was in the queue at 19:43 and still no dice. And it was letting me put them in my basket but I wasn't able to checkout. Oh dear.
24. I didn't get one unfortunately :( If anyone needs someone to accompany them then that would be amazing.
25. Ah thanks guys, I thought they were but wanted to double check. I'll probably avoid them then. I found mine on a seller on ebay. His record store is closing and he was trying to flog his stock off-- which happened to include the singles collection. So I got it for a steal at £60 :)
