I had an exam in the morning on the day of the recording. And for the boat-trip I had already had an exam moved around for me, so I thought I probably couldn't have done it for a second time. :\ I take it you went?

Yes! I was. I didn't realise you were there either. I missed out on talking to so many people. :( But, yeah, you probably know of me and my friend... We were two of the people that did VLV Coldplayoke... I was the shorter girl with the ginger and blue hair avec blue scarf and he was the ginger guy :laugh3:

The only other forum he's ever been involved with is the ultimate frisbee forum and that's all people he knows in RL just talking games and tactics. :lol: I'm stealing that as my introductory line y'know. :lol: At least you saved it before both mistakes were made. I'd say that's a fail turned win. I guess considering everyone is telling me, I'll head over there tomorrow night (I need tomorrow to gather my wits. Ah, I have seen Crests around, and I think I may have spoken to her once. I normally see the thread-- but I don't exactly know how you start and enter a thread like that so late. I'm such a nervous berk it is unbelievable. Twas my friend Custard. I think that maybe it was moved, I'm not exactly sure though. All I know is that he point blank refuses to come on here anymore. Everyone was tl;dr and stuff. He just felt that it was rude and trolling so he didn't like it. (He's a bit of a sensitive soul in RL and all).

I'm saying potentially mid-year... May or June seem likely to me. I mean, yeah, they've booked a lot of Festivals for the summer and to me, it seems odd not to have the new material released before then. I would imagine it would be the first airings of the new album tracks live before they actually went on tour. As pointed out, it's not unheard of for bands to play new material before release (even against advise of the record company/management) but in most cases (like KoL) they were at their own concerts. I doubt you'd preview new material at a Festival considering it's more of a platform to play 'latest album mixed with the back-catalogue classics'.

Not cool. :\ If I remember rightly, someone slagged off his opinion of the Christmas Lights single and so instead of taking it up with them in that thread-- he went to the lounge to get their input and wrote a philosophical borderline spiritual take on why this person felt the need to say that to him and why he had those views in the first place-- that he aired for discussion. It was so awkward because I felt it was a little risky material to take to the Lounge-- but he didn't deserve the utter bashing he got.

Aww. That's rubbish that she felt the need to do that! I hope she's okay and that she feels comfortable enough to come and join us back in here at some point. It's nice that you have her email and facebook though so you don't sacrifice your friendship over some awful lounge jerks :veryangry2: I don't venture into the lounge a lot. Actually, I tend to stay here and the Coldplay threads... Because somehow the lounge seems very terrifying. My friend joined the board after going on the Coldplaying boat and went to the lounge and got trolled so bad he left the forum after 2 days of joining. :cry:

Aw :hug: You should. I got in to them just after their debut was released and was thrilled when they supported Coldplay (and dead impressed that they supported Muse at Wembley this year too). I'd say look up Farewell to the Fairground, Death and Bigger Than Us...

As do I. I can't help but think whoever worked on Toy Story 3 was a massive Muse Stan.... Just because they have him Dom styled (as above) and then they have this number: Which makes him look startlingly like:

I'm going to be terrible and say that I didn't like the Exogenesis Symphonies until I heard them live. They used to be an instant skip when I first got the album. :shame: But yeah, I think that would be awesome to see on the Grammys but I think they will stick with Uprising/Resistance. Although I have to agree, I'm secretly hoping they break out something heavier just to completely throw everyone through a hoop. But I think not now that Matt is in the public eye a bit more in America because of Kate and he's all going to be well behaved and rubbishery like that. :\

:lol: I'm sort of hoping they one up it in some way. But IDK, I won't be sad to see Dom's scuba/wetsuit go... Just because, as we all know, I get irritated because it is most definitely spandex/lycra/polester mix... Not neoprene like wetsuits. While I remember: Dom's been spotted around a drum sale/convention thing this week. The thought made me laugh mildly. :lol:
