i only listened to the version on coldplayer i think a max of 3 times last week and i must say the next day it was thoroughly stuck in my head the whole day and it wasn't even after i had heard it, it happened a whole 12hrs later. i'm trying to not listen a whole lot to it cause with all the overplaying of in my place that happened last album i kinda came to dislike it or rather evertime i listen to the album now i skip over it, i dont want that to happen again with SoS.

the flaming lips are having a new album come out or just did, i'm not sure with the dates but it's completely made up of covers. which the lips always do wonderfully. i know for sure they have a radiohead song on there i have a tracklisting somewhere i'll post it in a minute

i dunno what the second single is gonna be and actually don't feel like guessing till i hear all the songs on the album, but i think i have a theory on as to the background colors for them might be chosen. well you remember how chris said the bands he's been wearing around his fingers relates to the new album, and well how we've been stumped as to how they correlate since breaking the code we found out colors don't mean squat. well i think the bands on his fingers are representing the future background colors for the singles. cause well if you look at the pictures of the NME interview thats posted the bands shown are the red color same as to what we now now is the speed of sound background- conscience? i dunno. then the next is a kinda light blue, and then a yellow. i don't know but i was thinking it from after seeing old pics of the kcrw show when the only bands were the darker blue and then red, and then the album cover showed up being dark blue, and SoS cover showed up being red. and since chris did say they were related to the album and since when the code was broken the colors didn't necessarily matter i thought maybe it was just a way to tie the two. but hey i'm prolly wrong.

well i thought it was funny and we all know texas is definitely red not blue :rolleyes:

oh well i'm seein how the 1's and the 0's correlate to the blanks and spaces and then how the individual letters ya'll found the colors match up, but when i look back at that one site for the inital binary coding for the alphabet and then see that it looks like some letters have the same "code" but thats not right and then i don't exactly have it figured out how it is that some of the time for some letters or figures it makes the longer or extended boxes, :confused: and maybe thats where it is, right where it says on those charts the same code but i dunno thats where i've been getting all muddled up, and ah one day it might come to me, but for now i'll take it with half understanding.

yea if it wasn't for the blasted purple and blue being in that order purple above blue and then having gray in there at all i would say it has somethign to so with like the whole wavelength spectrum, cause it goes in that order of how you split light up and how the colors go in a rainbow. but blast that purple and blue :smash: i just dunno :/

ahh yes but it was really interesting because the place where i had heard the mention was by someone who made a mention who said it had leaked right before talk did and then well talk leaked. and he had said he actually knew the person that leaked talk and only did it because talk was going to be a b-side, obviously that wasn't what ended up happening. but we know that some people have heard the album now like radiostations and reviewers so it's a lot more probable and a it was just really coincidental that it happened to be the same guy just mentioning about that it had leaked again, but like i said i doubt it's not gonna be long before it's gonna be leaked in full anyways so i'm not really worried about rushing out and frantically google searching.

and well correct me if i'm wrong, but you said the colors were of no significance. like i realice the baudot code is based on 1's and 0's. and if thats true and then if the colors don't relate to the baudot code portion, then maybe since they do also hold true to being the same for same letters and such, maybe it's possible for them to hold within themselves their own unique code, but then thats going a way bit too far with this :rolleyes: i should just stop i guess i just like the colors and wanted them to be a part too...

yea i've been hearing pretty believable rumors that the album's leaked from early this week but i've had like the shittiest week possible so i havent' had a moments time worth to investigate that out :/

well you know how you set up your shared ratios in your preferences in whatever program you use, well make sure you don't limit your uploading ratio or slots too much, because that usually will counter effect the rate at which they let you or allow you to download from. with torrents they kinda set up a fail safe to make sure you are sharing what you download so people don't get screwed and so if you seed what you download and not to remove them immediately. to and extent, doesn't have to be complete but just keep in mind for best to just keep them both at unlimited. i mean thats the only thing you really can do to up your chances of a faster rate of download, that and a good speed connection, a good seed number of seeds but thats basically the main one that gets people i think. i hope that helps

increase the amount you upload, make sure you don't limit your upload ratio generally that's the only way for the most part
