Olympics 2012 opening / closing ceremony gigs
I think during the Olympics is the one time I would want to be FAR AWAY from London. It's going to be way too hectic.

That awkward feeling
'actually' no that's not what I meant but I like that you think like that :awesome: btw as a "check" the maximum present value is simply the payment divided by the interest rate (on the same timing basis); that way you'll easily know whether you royally screwed up
-
That awkward feeling
is it beginning-of-month or end-of-month payments omg actuary getting excited INTEREST THEORY e is awesome

Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
The fans loitering outside the studio would probably cushion his fall, that's why he's not really concerned

That awkward feeling
depends on the interest rate * actuary response *

Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
Oddly enough my flight was one of the very few that was scheduled to leave from Heathrow; it was the rail system that did me in. Train broke down half hour south of Newcastle, stuck there over an hour with no power in -10C temps, they did a quick fix to get us to the next station, but we had to take a different route anyway because the overhead lines further south snapped due to the ice, got rerouted to the middle of nowhere switching trains at least 4 times. Basically it took me 8 hours to get to London. I arrived at Paddington just as my flight took off. Got lucky with re-booking the next day, but that wasn't even a re-booking, it was just an outright purchase of new tickets. Yay.

ankle dork - random question
What kind of popping? Like the bones in the ankle are just cracking? Or some other kind of low-tone popping? That can make a difference. I pitched in softball several years and the ankle of my landing foot cracks all the time now when I walk, but it doesn't hurt and there's not any damage. I think it's the other kind of popping that would be of a concern though. Either way you should get it checked out, it couldn't hurt to go; even if nothing is wrong it would at least give you peace of mind. edit: If your concern is money/lack of insurance, maybe there's another way to get some advice. Do any of your friends and/or fellow teammates have parents that are nurses or doctors? If you ask their opinion, it's not like they are going to turn you down.
