  1. I just now got around to watching this. :surprised: This is great Mike! So, you can just play by ear? I wish I could do that... I can barely even read music. :disappointed:
  2. People, let us not forget that there is at least one person who works for the band that has an account here. So, to 100% doubt this locust7 dude would be naive. Just sayin'.
  3. Nobody. Although I think it would be a bit pretentious of them to only play old stuff.
  4. Noob just had her first complete run-through of OK Computer. First impression: Great. Although I do agree with Sara that it's a little overrated. Also, a big wtf to Fitter Happier. Fitter Happier is to OK Computer as Feral is to TKOL. (Although I admit Feral is growing on me, I don't know if I'll be able to say the same for Fitter Happier.)
  5. Someone was trying to sell some sort of rare VHS thing on ebay but nobody bid on it. If anybody's interested, maybe the person will take an offer even though it already ended. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75695 And actually, if you click on the ebay link, even though it ended it looks like it was reposted in the "recommended" list below (same seller).
  6. Fair enough. But don't you think it would be so exciting to be one of the first people in the world to hear their new material live? I would consider that to be a privilege. imo
  7. ^ What makes you think they can't play new material at the festivals, more than one or two songs? I agree with you that they can't rest on their laurels, it wouldn't be right for them to just redo their last tour or attempt to do a 'Greatest Hits' thing. I see no reason why their setlist can't be >50% new material. They did that with LP2 at Glasto, why do you think they can't do it now with LP5, and use the upcoming festivals as a platform for promoting it?
  8. I can't decide if that's a derivative or integral
  9. voted :lips: good luck! btw I want The Goldrush or some other relatively obscure Coldplay song thanks bunches

  20. Oh, and in regard to the earlier discussion regarding a potential Thom dance parody on SNL... unfortunately the next live show won't be until next Saturday (March 5th). I have a feeling by that time it will be "old" news, so the chances of them doing anything with it will be slim. And to correct what I said earlier, the musical guest will be The Strokes (not The Black Keys). Miley Cyrus is still the host though.
  21. I wish we had a subway here *has to drive 25 miles each way to/from work*
