HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE
No, but a friend of mine from high school has his own Christian Rock band. And recording company. :| From a couple of his videos, I think he kind of has a Matt Bellamy-ish voice. I can't remember the name of his band but I could try to find the videos again if you want. EDIT: here ya go [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i754zGVcK1s&feature=related]YouTube - Ashley Peacock - Something Real[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1aQe1lfLqk&feature=related]YouTube - The First Day - Ashley Peacock[/ame]

I keep checking two things: - TKOL order tracking to see if another download item pops up magically - Tour dates section :| Methinks I need to calm myself down a bit.

Radiohead
Meh, doubt it. If anything, I think the timing of the announcement was more related to being an "eff you" to the Grammy awards and those British awards held the same week. But if that theory had any place in reality, I would think a related "holiday" would be more like Arbor Day. That's "celebrated" in April in the States, and I think maybe in November in the U.K.

:wacky: May I ask permission to use that as my avi? You can say no, it won't hurt my feelings.

Parlophone's A&R for Coldplay: LP5 expected "towards the autumn"
So they should just play only OLD stuff as headliners at numerous festivals a full 3 years after their most recent release? Do you know how much they would get ripped on for that? And I would have no shame in doing some of the ripping myself... They need to perform new material, and it should make up at least half of their performance; they can't be resting on their laurels otherwise it will make them look, I don't know, arrogant. Even if they wait until after the festivals to release LP5, they will still need to perform the new stuff.

^ I especially like this one: 4. The Electric Eel The trick here is to vibrate all four limbs as fast as possible in the manner of a Capuchin monkey break-dancing across an electrified cattle-grid.

Since U2 haven't yet been OFFICIALLY announced as the Friday headliner for Glastonbury, what do you guys think the chances are that Radiohead actually has that slot?

'Three biggest bands' set for Glastonbury 2011
Ticket re-sale update from Glasto website: Ticket resale update 18 February 2011 A lot of you have been getting in touch to ask about the upcoming ticket resale, so we thought we'd post a little update. The resale is likely to be in mid-April after people have had chance to pay their balances. At the moment, it doesn't look like there will be too many cancelled tickets to go back on sale, though. We'll let you know firm details of the resale well in advance, here on the official site. http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/news/ticket-resale-update

Radiohead
My little review: Keep in mind I'm in a bit of a unique situation compared to the rest of you here, I just started listening to Radiohead last month. I've only properly listened to IR, had my first run-through of HTTT a few days ago (although I've watched the Jools Holland performance of There There, Go to Sleep, 2+2=5 and Where I End and You Begin numerous times over the past few weeks), a few other key songs from The Bends and OK Computer, and I just received most of the other stuff for my birthday. SO, I haven't soaked in the full back catalog for comparison to TKOL, and I haven't watched the previous live versions of the unreleased songs (so no influence on my listening experience here). I didn't even go to DAS this morning, just went straight to TKOL order tracking and downloaded it. This will need to grow on me, but that's the case with pretty much anything I listen to, so I suppose that doesn't really mean much. I knew the moment I heard Lotus Flower that it would be a single (sure enough, when I went to DAS, lo and behold they had already posted the video). Anywho... Bloom: Mmmmkay. I'm not really into the "looping" stuff, but that's just me. Morning Mr. Magpie: Better. You'll probably piss on me for saying this, but I think his singing sounds a little like Bono in this one. But only on this one. Little By Little: I really like this, I find it rather soothing. It reminds me of something, but I just can't put my finger on it. Feral: I think the title describes it perfectly. On first listen I hated it, but oddly enough that one is growing on me pretty quick. Lotus Flower: As I mentioned before, when I first heard it I knew it had to be the first single. It seemed to be the most "accessible" (thus far). Excellent. Codex: Beautiful, even though it is a bit dark. On my first listen, one of my first thoughts was, "Fuck. Some stupid parents are gonna blame their kid's suicide on this because they need someone/something to blame. Fuck." But I love the song. Give up the Ghost: Not sure what else to say other than it's lovely. Separator: Mneh. Didn't care for it at first, but it's growing on me. Although I found it to have a rather uplifting tone to it, so it was a nice way to end. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't the end. I'm not going to hold out hope or anything, I've still got a lot of catching up to do anyway so I can keep myself occupied for awhile. But I won't surprised if there's more.

Thank you. This is now my current fb status. Maybe he should make a guest appearance on Sunday night at Glasto when Beyonce performs. Or not. But that would be classic.

Parlophone's A&R for Coldplay: LP5 expected "towards the autumn"
Once upon a time, there lived this really awesome month called AUGUST...

Radiohead
Oh. Bummer. :| Although I wonder which 2 tracks the 12" vinyl will have (the one and only signed copy). *just finished listening a few times, will provide a little review soon*

Radiohead
The 2 clear vinyls is the definitive thing there, and the rest just support the "theory". We'll get something else. It's just a matter of when. The industry/media is going apeshit already, can you imagine what would happen if they released a second one tomorrow?

Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
^ they would need to grow out their hair a bit first; headbanging isn't the same without long hair  basically, I don't think you'll need to worry about that (I hope)

Radiohead
just checked to see if I could download it already, and since I could (in the process right now), I just popped in here to say I won't be back here until I've listened to it oodles of times and don't want to be influenced by what other people have said so far toodles

Hmm, interesting, they just linked this in the hypnofeed. Jimmy Kimmel? Weren't they the music guest on his very first show? *hint maybe?* [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyGJXLxtVEo]YouTube - Handsome Men's Club[/ame] Of course I enjoy reading way too much into things.
