I know, the beginning is gorgeous!! Did you know that there is a sequel? It's called "Love Never Dies" and it opened in London this March. I know that it's still Andrew Lloyd Webber's music and all, but I don't think it could ever be as epic as Phantom. But I still want to buy the cd and listen, and I'll see it on stage eventually I hope!
