Yeah, I second this thread. I have one but it doesn't quite play at the right speed. I'm thinking of buying a few vinyl's. I did have some but when my record player started being silly I got drunk and gave them to cute girls. Including my signed CocoRosie ones. BOOOOO.

Yes but I prefer the album versions to all of them. After hearing some of the remixes last night I think it's about time I got into them though.

With regards to Oasis and Blur who are already seen as era defining but I'll mention because the main driving forces behind them (Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn) are still going strong, I feel that Gallagher will be remembered as the better song writer in terms of anthems and Albarn as the greater experimenter and exponer of beauty as being the one who got better with age.

Yes. I don't care much for the rest outside the album. Some of it is generic, but not quite good enough to be Codex generic, then the rest is a little rambling.

Feral, Lotus Flower and Seperator are the best. Then Bloom and Codex Then the rest

Yeah, I reckon this is about right.

Kings of Leon had two very good albums. It was them and The Strokes, the only good bands around. Then after the third album they had overtaken The Strokes. Unfortunately they turned awful, as the signs showed in some of the third album tracks. First two albums they were great though. I think they have to be the band with the biggest turn around from great to crap. Either them or Coldplay. Both had two really good albums then went awful wishy washy mainstream dirge. Kings Of Leons first two have stood the test of time better though.

Yup. And I'm a massive fan. But this will pay for a future weekend away with my girlfriend and I knew the album inside out before I'd got the vinyl and my record player broke before I got it. Added to which all my mates got it delivered before me and the special stickers etc looked pretty disappointing.
