That's quite depressing. You have a better chance of stopping up every time you come up with the finances generated. Would you honestly rather see your team finish seventh, or lose in the playoffs every season than enjoy promotion and also see your team play against the best teams in England? Blackpool will be back down next season don't worry haha.

No  :whip: No laziness! It is on the first page of The Lounge, it isn't hard to find.

I agree with this view.

It is a different album every time. I don't think it has been chosen yet. You should do it sometime. See you later!

The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
I'll help you out again if you don't want to read my posts properly. I didn't criticise Manchester City or Chelsea for spending, I said that Manchester City are doing it in a way which has proved detrimental to themselves, given the high standards they now set, and I pointed out Chelsea as doing it successfully. As a side note whilst we won the title because of the money we spent it was in no way near the same difference of finances that we see today. If you compare the amount that Chelsea had to spend in comparison to others when Abramovic took over, and now what Manchester City have to spend (particularly on wages) compared to others, that is a huge gulf. Compare that once again to Rovers of 1994 and other teams in the league and it simply looks silly. For example see that the season we 'bought' the league, Manchester United bought Any Cole for £7million setting the transfer record. In those years the record was broken almost every other week by at least 3 clubs, whereas now it will only be City who will be setting records for spending. I would much rather have been at the top and the bottom, than never have reached the summit. And I disagree that you had a team to compete but just didn't. You've never had the squad to do it, simply a few outstanding individuals.

Have you not seen them on the board? Somebody hosts online and everybody listens to an album at the same time and you discuss it as you listen. It's good.

This may already have been mentioned but Everton fans were singing 'No woman no Kai' at the weekend.

It's been all basketball this last few days! Yes I will be. I can listen to the music and speak at the listening party, whilst still posting on the board etc.

That Russian punch-up was embarrassing  What made it worse was that I was watching it on tv and my dad was making me do my homework whilst I watched.

Braddock's European Tour (Or 'Braddock - European Son')
Wow Karol, that looks amazing. I'm definitely gonna try and get to Prague. Thanks for bringing it to my attention :) Sweeeeeeeet! I nearly went to Strasbourg the other year for a CocoRosie gig but I was priced out of it. I'll look into going this time instead. I'm sure my friends would be interested.

Braddock's European Tour (Or 'Braddock - European Son')
Indeed, memories of European football. That is why I'm going to Austria actually, heading to Salzburg for Mozart's hometown and where Rovers won the other year. I'm sure there are plenty of other cities I could go to around the continent whom Rovers have played in my short lifetime. You could travel to the pub which Kevin McDonald traveled to after getting subbed at half time instead of watching his team endure a 6-1 defeat to Machester City last season.

I really hope you do! Haha, nothing sounds fun. I will be going for a walk and also sorting my CV out so I can apply for some jobs. At night I will hopefully get to participate in one of the listening parties that this board hosts sometimes. It has been a while since I have been in one.

Braddock's European Tour (Or 'Braddock - European Son')
France is my first stop! I have a friend who is living there right now with his girlfriend in Paris who I will visit and I have promised to pop in and say hi to Jade from this board. I like beautiful scenery, delicious food and wonderful music, so I'm hoping to catch a gig or two whilst I pass through. France could be one of the places I stop in longest, aside from Germany, since I actually have somebody I can stop with.

Don't worry monkey. Everything will be fine. These things take time sometimes and there is plenty of time left. What are you doing tonight?

Braddock's European Tour (Or 'Braddock - European Son')
Well I imagine it will be slightly warmer or at worst the same as England. My main thing is not to start during the Winter, as that would be harder. I'm not expecting heat waves.

Hey, I'm great, and healthy! Played badminton today (the better version of tennis). Did you hand in your piece on the profession you most want to do? Well that is good news. At least they didn't check and then say you weren't in. It will just be being sorted out now!

Braddock's European Tour (Or 'Braddock - European Son')
Sweet! Feel free to post them - it will add colour to the thread. Perhaps in the future I can take pictures of myself in the same places! Cool! Well Ghent sounds as though it will be a must. I imagine it will be late summer (probably August) when I travel since I want to begin in warm weather. It would make things much easier. When I begin to plan this properly I will bump the thread and ask you for your suggestions. I'm already super excited about the Kayaking when I go to Belgium, as mentioned above! I shall have to go to a football match too!

The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
Haha, if you had read one of my earlier posts you would have realised that I would be satisfied with simply avoiding relegation. How is that kidding myself? And I hate Sam Allardyce as much as the next football fan. I never said you shouldn't be proud of your history, I never said anything about Liverpool fans saying they will win the league (since it is simply viewing yourself as challengers which is the problem - you might have been challengers twice since the start of the Premier League). As for your statement that you won't be able to challenge for years after last season, it has been the same for years. You have been challenging for second maximum for over a decade apart from a couple of times when those around you have struggled and then you got an unlikely shot at the title, which you never took.

Braddock's European Tour (Or 'Braddock - European Son')
If you don't want me in your country just tell me :p Nah, just kidding. I hope to save up plenty of money, like far too much than I actually need. And when I am traveling I don't plan to spend massive amounts of money on things like accommodation or transport. Norway will be my treat, hopefully. Yeah. I would have liked to have done America too, but it would have taken so much longer to save up. I think it will be good for me to come up against some language barriers too and experience cultures very different to England. Hopefully I'll be able to do America some day too. I just get the feeling that if I don't do this now, when I am at this crossroads in my life, I won't get the chance again. If I settle down and start a career it's forty long years of work.

See Liverpool are the worst of the lot for thinking they are better than they actually are. I'd like to see them stay out of the top 6.
