I saw an interview where he said that one of the reasons he prefers America because if he drove down the road in London with no roof on his car listening to guns and roses full blast someone will walk past and call him a ******, whereas in America they will compliment him. I guess there are more people over there who will accept bad taste.

I don't think anybody is excusing him, he appears to be a buffoon. The punishment, however, does not fit the crime. Or that is how it appears, at least.

I do quite like the theory of language as a concept which you can use however you like to personalise the points you are making.

I was going to play football but there aren't enough of us. There is football on tv but I don't know what to do about it. I could watch it at home, but I'd kind of like to get out the house and see some people. Either way I'll be home in the late evening.
