  1. in fairness, christopher martin's have been funnier than some of the jokes maybe he's doing it on purpose?
  2.:cry::cry::cry::cry: not even a picture of the dress on it's own?
  3. there's a surprise
  4. i don't think christopher martin has realised that there have already been racist (or xenophobic) jokes in the thread already, even before the hitler/jew joke. but i guess everything's too black and white in his consciousness, in more ways than one anyways yeah jokes
  5. phew! then there is some small consolation there then.
  6. *chants* PICTURE OF DRESS PICTURE OF DRESS
  7. tuesday is aaaaaaaaaaaaages away! (will you still be posting regularly when you're back in france?)
  8. you aren't very good with sarcasm are you? and why would you respect me anyway? you don't know me. and if you are actually accusing me of being racist that's quite a heavy thing to throw around. my views are that nelsen mandela is overrated when it comes to being a global figurehead for peace considering he attempted to blow up a parliament. i have said that i agree with what he stood for and i don't blame him for doing so. i just don't think he should be held up as a person he isn't. i admire the likes of martin luther king a lot more as they used none violent methods. don't say something as vague as 'your views on nelsen mandela' because people who read that on it's own and don't know what those views are will simply presume that it is something based on his race and people will actually think i am a racist. you're a poor misguided fool.
  9. ricky has an agenda and that is to make a funny video. he knows it is funny to get chris to say things like this because it is totally out of character and clearly not what he is like. chris is playing along because it is funny and the whole situation is absurd (like it was when chris appeared in the tv program extras with ricky). ricky is excellent at making cringe comedy and chris finds what he is saying funny and plays along. ricky keeps upping the anti to see how far he will go and it gets funnier as it goes on, but it's all playful. they are friends. if he was offended he wouldn't have tried to stop in the character of the awful chris martin he was pretending to be.
  10. that was your point apparently. my point is you can't make such a broad comment. i know loads of people who use laughter as a defence mechanism and that wouldn't change just because it's 9/11. of course people will be offended, but there's nothing you can do about offended people. if you are offended you are offended. if you aren't you aren't. there's nothing anybody can do about it.
  11. chris is finding it funny, what ricky is saying combined with the situation of him having a camera i his face if they were mucking around and doing that but not on film chris would have probably played along and made more jokes like he did with some of the other things discussed.
  12. i've seen it before in the film i just thought it was the being sick part and the being sick part was how i felt when you mentioned that guys name the dialogue at the begin wasn't supposed to be on
  13. did i really? in what way
  14. lol sensitive one but yeah, many more families have been destroyed by sweatshops than 9/11. thousands and thousands and thousands have died in poor working conditions. 9/11 has little on that. and here is chris martin trying to find humour in it. tut tut tut
  15. that is amazing!
  16. yes he is i've seen clips from it but never actually watched it
  17. no, my argument is you don't know how how all the families affected feel about 9/11 jokes. given the fact i think paedophile jokes are funny given what has happened to me i would be very surprised if there weren't some people who have lost loved ones during 9/11 who have laughed at jokes about it. so when you say there is no way anybody can say it makes them feel better, me saying it's nice of you to represent the entirety of all the families affected IS a fair comeback.
  18. i like how you are the voice of all the families affected by 9/11
  19. what's pink, 12 inches long and keeps a woman up all night screaming? sorry guys :( yeah, that was the offensive one i took an hour or so to decide on whether to post or not.
  20. two gay guys silly
