if i get to an older age without responsibility, or i have children and they grow up to adults and understand my way of thinking, i would much rather have my life in my own hands. there is a certain beauty in that control, rather than letting nature take it's cause. it's quite a powerful action and i would prefer that to simply fading away. on the other hand i wouldn't do it if my parents were still alive or if those closest to me didn't understand

i approve of this theory up until a cut off point which i have yet to decide. i cannot imagine two 90 year olds referring to each other as guys though maybe because it wasn't a prevalent word in their youth maybe it will be used in future old people's homes, where the residents include people called britney and troy, instead of vera and albert. what a strange place that would be

it must be pretty cool knowing you don't have all that long left. if i was diagnosed with a terminal illness tomorrow and given 18 months, in a way it would be very liberating. you could just concentrate on enjoying your time once you got over the shock.

with overpopulation as it is i doubt we are gonna strive to get people to 200. plus just think of the state of mental health of the average 200 year old. i'd be happy making 80. fifteen years of retirement and i'd probably be bored. plus if i pass 90 i obviously haven't had enough fun in my younger years.
