  13. i only started getting them this year because of my headaches. some of the accents can be annoying. i have naked lunch read by burroughs himself and it's so hard to tell what he's saying and you can tell in his voice he's really messed up, but it takes it to another level knowing it's the guy who actually wrote it. 1984 is great. those are the kind of books i'm after. relatively short classics
  14. it isn't easy reading but the first few chapters are really good. i kept reading them last year every 3 or 4 months. i should read further some time soon.
  15. yeah camus is good, but i haven't read any thoreau. i got 'the brothers karamazov' by dostoevsky on audiobook but it's over 24 hours long :\
  16. are you enjoying it so far? i keep picking up 'the myth of sisyphus' by camus but it keeps telling me to kill myself.
  17. books on drug adventures books written by great philosophers
  18. i wish i could say the name Karl. it always comes out closer to coral
  19. yeah that's the one. the plot isn't really important though. it's all about Lord Henry Wotton and everything he says. history and politics exams. don't ask me why i did a double degree :( i need to get back into reading. i only ever really read in bed, and recently i've just gone on the laptop instead. plus i've had headaches for a year (though they have now gone) so i kinda stopped. have any recommendations?

  23. on an artificial surface, yes have you ever got high?
  24. hardly unearthing a hidden gem here but have you read the picture of dorian gray? i think that is my favourite book. usually around 2. i have nothing to wake up for at the moment since i just have essays and exams, and i don't write unless i'm under pressure and the rest of my exams aren't for a few weeks.
