hmmm... well yeah, AROBTTH is more impressive than parachutes (i wouldn't say A LOT more though :P) but i would never think VLV or X&Y are more impressive than Parachutes. Specially not X&Y :/ ...but oh well, this are just opinions :D hehe

Parachutes is more impressive than VLV, and X&Y. I think AROBTTH is bigger but not better. I consider parachutes almost a perfect album. Don't panic as the first song is a great introduction to what will come. The songs are not all the same but the album has cohesion. It's not too long or too short (okay yeah maybe a liiiitle bit too short :P), Chris uses falsetto and also a deep voice, the drums on Spies, the bass on Sparks, the piano on Trouble, the guitar on yellow...It has no trick, it doesn't intend to be big or magnificent, it's just real to what coldplay was in that moment. I think it's just beautiful... :heart:

I think the videos are funny and you can't say anything against that. You think the videos are awful and I can't say anything against that. C'mon, guys, it's fine if people have different opinions, don't take it personally. No one of us owns the truth.

I'd wish they played Sparks :wacky: and also Daylight, that one really kills me on the Live 2003. Amsterdam would be awesome too. I just hope Chris won't forget the lyrics :D

that's exactly what i think xD I really think that's because the album has no cohesion. A lot of the songs are great but they don't really fit to be in an album. Plus, i think they named the album after the weakest song. The great songs in X&Y have nothing to do with the theme of the album.

When your friends make you close your eyes and they put all the coldplay songs on random and they make you guess wich song is playing. And you know only by listening the first 3 seconds. And you didn't make any mistake...

Personally, i don't like too much X&Y becasue it has no cohesion. I think Square one is a great song but not to open the album and i think that was the biggest mistake with this album. It gives the impression that you will listen to electronic, futirist space-y(?) songs and then you find A message, Fix You, The hardest part, Swallowed in the sea and to finish; til kingdome come. Plus, i think Low, Twisted Logic and X&Y are really weak songs. This is just my opinion and sorry for the poor english xd
